ISAAC ALBERT McLAIN (71.4.5.3.6.1.7) is the son of Isaac Abner McLain and Ivy Mae (Smith) McLain.  Isaac was born on September 23, 1907 in Iredell County, North Carolina.  Isaac McLain married Katheryn Inez Ballew.  Isaac and Katheryn McLain were the parents of one son:

     Isaac Albert McLain, Jr.

Isaac McLain died on November 28, 1963 in McDowell County, North Carolina.  Isaac McLain, Jr. married Barbara Jean Fisher and they have one daughter:  -  Kathryn Amelia McLain.

ADOLPHUS NEWTON McLAIN (71.4.5.3.8) is the son of James Story McLain and Jane Emeline (Stevenson) McLain.  Adolphus was born on October 27, 1857 in North Carlina.  On December 2, 1876, Adolphus McLain married Esperan Foushee (born 1857 in North Carolina).  Adolphus and Esperan McLain were the parents of three children:

     William E. McLain, 1876, North Carolina
     Minnie C. McLain, b. 1879, North Carolina

In 1880, Adolphus and Esperan McLain were living with Adolphus’ father, James McLain, in Alexander County, North Carolina.  Adolphus McLain died on August 12, 1923.
