WILLIAM PACE SHELTON (1.5.5) is the son of William Shelton and Martha (Pace) Shelton.  William was born on September 19, 1843 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On September 29, 1864, William Shelton married Margaret Ann Wright in Jackson County, Alabama.  Margaret was born on October 23, 1848 in Alabama and is the daughter of John Jack Wright and Lavina (Isbell) Wright.  William P. Shelton served for one year as a private in the Union Army during the Civil War.  William served in Company A, First Regiment of the Alabama and Tennessee Independent Vidette Cavalry.  William and Margaret Shelton were the parents of eleven children:

From 1870 to 1920, William and Margaret Shelton were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1910, Mary M. Shelton and Charles Shelton were living with their parents in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1920, Martha M. Shelton was living with William and Margaret Shelton.  William Shelton died on November 22, 1924 and was buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery.  Margaret (Wright) Shelton died on September 10, 1928 near Larkinsville, Alabama.

Martha Malinda Lindie Shelton never married.  Malinda Shelton died on March 13, 1952 and was buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery near Larkinsville, Alabama.  James Shelton died at the age of eighteen on May 12, 1887 and was buried in the Boxes Cove Cemetery.  Samuel Shelton died at the age of sixteen on January 9, 1888 and was buried in the Boxes Cove Cemetery.  Jesse Shelton died as an infant on January 29, 1881.

From 1900 to 1920, John and Toy Shelton were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1910, Toy’s brother, D. Culver, was living with them.  Toy (Culver) Shelton died on November 6, 1956 and John W. Shelton died on February 8, 1958.  Both were buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.  On February 10, 1924, Maude Shelton married Lawrence S. Berry and they have three children:  -  Martha Berry,  -  Edward Berry,  -  Annie Pearl Berry.  Maude (Shelton) Berry died on September 11, 1982 in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Lawrence and Maude Berry were buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Edward Berry was also buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.  On May 19, 1918, Ethel Shelton married Patrick H. Johnson in Jackson County, Alabama and they had one son:  -  James W. Johnson.  Ethel (Shelton) Johnson died on April 5, 1983 in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Pat and Ethel Johnson were buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.  James W. Johnson was killed in World War II and was buried in the Reims National Cemetery in France.

On December 22, 1940, Orville Shelton married Nellie Rogers and they have no children.  On June 14, 1935, Buford Boots Shelton married Nannie Bob Scott and they had one daughter:  -  Gail Shelton, b. March 27, 1936.  Boots Shelton married a second time to Lucy Felt and later married a third time.  On June 17, 1955, Gail Shelton married James W. Baxter and they have at least one daughter:  -  Judy Baxter.  Judy Baxter married Larry Lott and they have one son:  -  Brian Lott.  On June 13, 1945, Clifford Shelton married Thelma Blackburn and they had two children:  -  Margaret Nell Shelton,  -  Ricky Shelton.  Clifford Shelton died on December 17, 1982 and was buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.

ANNIE B. SHELTON (1.5.5.4.3) is the daughter of John William Shelton and Toy Jane (Culver) Shelton.  Annie was born on December 20, 1902 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On November 18, 1921, Annie Shelton married Earl Bishop (born 1900) in Lim Rock, Alabama.  Earl and Annie Bishop were the parents of three children:

  J. B. Bishop
  Cecil Bishop
  Inez Bishop

Earl and Annie Bishop lived in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Annie (Shelton) Bishop died on December 14, 1986 in Scottsboro, Alabama and was buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Cecil Bishop married and has children.  Inez Bishop married Melvin Butler and they live in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Inez is employed at the Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro.

CLARENCE GRADY SHELTON (1.5.5.4.4) is the son of John William Shelton and Toy Jane (Culver) Shelton.  Grady was born on March 28, 1905 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On November 7, 1936, Grady Shelton married Mae Click in Jackson County, Alabama.  Mae was born on February 26, 1910 in Madison County, Alabama and is the daughter of Henry Click and Nannie (McKinney) Click.  Grady and Mae Shelton have two children:

  Peggy Jean Shelton, b. September 6, 1942, Madison County, Alabama
  Jerry Dale Shelton, b. December 10, 1946, Madison County, Alabama

Grady Shelton died on February 28, 1972 and was buried in the Click Cemetery in Jackson County, Alabama.  On December 3, 1961, Peggy Shelton married Toney Gene Nixon (born January 17, 1941).  Toney and Peggy Nixon have two children:  -  Anthony Mark Nixon, b. May 9, 1963 at Travis Air Force Base, California,  -  Jeffery Lee Nixon, b. September 17, 1966 at McLellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, California.  On March 28, 1970, Jerry Shelton married Peggy Joyce Eaves.  Peggy is the daughter of Charles Streaty Eaves and Bearnice (Graben) Eaves.  Jerry and Peggy Shelton do not have any children and live in Huntsville, Alabama.

CHARLIE DEAVUS SHELTON (1.5.5.4.5) is the son of John William Shelton and Toy Jane (Culver) Shelton.  Dea was born on December 31, 1907 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On March 26, 1932, Dea Shelton married Ophelia Mattie Parker.  Ophelia was born on January 14, 1914.  Dea and Ophelia Shelton were the parents of two children:

Romie.  Charles Waymon Shelton did not marry.  Anthony Tony Shelton married Elaine Folds (born October 1, 1952) and they have one daughter:  -  Nicole Julie Shelton, b. August 7, 1978.

ESTELLE A. SHELTON (1.5.5.4.9) is the daughter of John William Shelton and Toy Jane (Culver) Shelton.  Estelle was born on September 8, 1919 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On July 24, 1940, Estelle Shelton married Raymond Jones.  Raymond and Estelle Jones are the parents of one son:

MARY MANOAH SHELTON (1.5.5.5) is the daughter of William Pace Shelton and Margaret Ann (Wright) Shelton.  Mollie was born on October 9, 1875 in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1900, Mollie Shelton married Albert Samuel Frazier at Lim Rock, Alabama.  Sam was born on August 7, 1879 and is the son of James W. Frazier and Margaret (Isbell) Frazier.  Sam’s brother, Dalton Frazier, married Martha Tidwell (1.5.3.2).  Sam and Mollie Frazier were the parents of nine children:

MABLE LIBBY FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.1) is the daughter of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  Mable was born on February 19, 1902 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On August 15, 1916, Mable Frazier married Lee Wilkerson Baker.  Lee’s brother, Edward Baker, married Mables first cousin, Ruby Shelton (1.5.5.8.9).  Lee and Mable Baker were the parents of two children:

  James Wilburn Baker, b. October 6, 1920, Jackson County, Alabama
  Mildred Leona Baker, b. September 30, 1922, Jackson County, Alabama

Lee Baker died on March 12, 1939 and Mable (Frazier) Baker died on February 7, 1978.  Both were buried in the Cameron Cemetery in Madison County, Alabama.  James Baker served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired from the Navy around 1960.  On December 9, 1945, James Baker married Cecelia Harris in San Diego, California.  James and Cecelia Baker have two sons:  -  Frank James Baker,  -  David Frank Baker.  On May 1, 1965, James Baker was killed in an accident in San Diego, California and was buried there in the Greenwood Cemetery.  As of 1985, Frank and David Baker were living in San Diego, California.

On January 3, 1942, Mildred Baker married Albert Lane in Huntsville, Alabama.  Albert was born on March 17, 1918 and is the son of Harold A. Lane and Katherine (Millar) Lane.  Albert and Mildred Baker had no children.  Albert was an artist for N. A. S. A. at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.  He painted murials of the Space program in the Smithsoninian Institute in Washington, District of Columbia.  Albert Lane died on June 2, 1983 in Huntsville, Alabama and was buried there in the Maple Hill Cemetery.  Mildred still lives in Huntsville, Alabama.

ELSIE MAGNOLIA FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.2) is the daughter of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  Elsie was born on January 9, 1904.  On September 10, 1922, Elsie Frazier married James Turner James in Jackson County, Alabama.  J. T. was born in 1903 in Jackson County, Alabama and is the son of Samuel James and Betty James.  J. T. and Elsie James were the parents of three children:

  Aubrey Turner James, b. August 13, 1923, Jackson County, Alabama
  Betty Clyde James, b. March 18, 1931, Jackson County, Alabama
  Margaret Rose James, b. August 14, 1933, Huntsville, Alabama

J. T. James died on July 25, 1983 and was buried in the Tullahoma, Tennessee area.  Elsie lives with her daughter, Margaret.  Aubrey James died at the age of four on July 19, 1928 and was buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery in Jackson County, Alabama.  Betty James died at the age of five on August 23, 1936 and was also buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery.  On September 30, 1947, Margaret James married Floyd Lee Bud Miles in the Tullahoma, Tennessee area.  Floyd was born on October 22, 1928 in Tullahoma, Tennessee and is the son of Harvy Miles and Cassie (Prince) Miles.  Floyd and Margaret Miles have two sons:  -  Floyd Lee Miles, Jr., b. On April 12, 1968, Floyd Miles, Jr. married Nancy Charlene McAnally in Tullahoma, Tennessee.  Nancy was born on December 6, 1947 in Tullahoma, Tennessee and is the daughter of Charles McAnally and Barbra (Bently) McAnally.  Floyd and Charlene Miles have two children:  -  Bryaa Lee Miles, b. September 16, 1969 in Tullahoma, Tennessee,  -  Lisa Michell Miles, b. June 2, 1974 in Luling, Texas.  On September 1, 1979, Robert Miles married Anita Marie Williams.  Anita was born on January 5, 1960 and is the daughter of Wayne Williams and Peggy Williams.  Robert and Anita Miles have two children:  -  Mitzy Doneane Miles, b. MYRTLE AGNES FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.3) is the daughter of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  Myrtle was born on December 28, 1904.  On December 5, 1925, Myrtle Frazier married Robert James Kerr (born January 11, 1878).  Robert and Myrtle Kerr were the parents of one daughter:

  Ruth Marie Kerr, b. January 28, 1927/8

Robert Kerr died on September 14, 1964 and Myrtle (Frazier) Kerr died on August 28, 1971.  Both were buried in the Peters Cove Cemetery near Woodville, Alabama.  Marie Kerr married George Stewart (born 1927) and they have four daughters:  -  Peggy Stewart,  -  Joan Stewart,  -  Clair Stewart,  -  Amy Stewart.  George was president of a bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Marie was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee in 1949.  George Stewart died of a heart attack around 1980 and was buried in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Marie (Kerr) Stewart still lives in Chattanooga.

Peggy Stewart married Frank Rieves and they have no children.  Frank and Peggy Rieves live in Nashville, Tennessee.  Clair Stewart married David Haully and they have two children:  -  Patrick Haully,  -  Samuel Haully.  David and Clair Haully live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Joan Stewart married Danny Webb and they have one daughter:  -  Eleanor Webb.  Danny and Joan Webb live in Massachusetts.  Amy Stewart lives with her sister, Clair.

ANNIE MAE FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.6) is the daughter of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  Annie was born on May 29, 1909.  In March of 1923, Annie Frazier married Julius Bart Maynor (born February 25, 1905) in Lincoln County, Tennessee.  They eloped when Annie Mae was fourteen years old.  J. B. and Annie Maynor were the parents of four children:

Maynor died on January 20, 1971 and Annie (Frazier) Maynor died on January 27, 1983.  Both were buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.  Lester Maynor and his wife, Helen, were married in the area of Warren, Michigan.  Lester and Helen Maynor have one daughter:  -  Marsha Maynor.  Marsha Maynor married Jackson Burnett.  Benny Maynor married Joline Jones of Huntsville, Alabama and they reside in Warren, Michigan since 1942.  Benny and Joline Maynor have one daughter:  -  Valorie Maynor.

Jewel Maynor married Cecil Burton in Warren, Michigan.  Cecil and Jewel Burton were the parents of three children:  -  Deborah Burton,  -  Linsey Burton,  -  Tracy Burton.  Cecil Burton died in the early 1960s and Jewell still lives in Warren, Michigan.  Deborah Burton married Roger Slusher and they have two children:  -  Windy Slusher,  -  Brandon Slusher.  Ruth Maynor married Stan Coegien and they have one daughter:  -  Sherri Coegien.  Ruth married a second time to Charles Sims and they have one daughter:  -  Rhonda Sims.  Sherri Coegien married and has two children:  Robbie and Heather.

JAMES RAYMOND FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.7) is the son of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  James was born on April 16, 1911.  On October 13, 1934, James Frazier married Mary Belle Martin in Jackson County, Alabama.  Mary is the daughter of Robert Eldrige Martin and Esther Martin.  James and Mary Frazier have three children:

Jimmy Frazier did not marry.  Jimmy Earl Frazier died on August 5, 1986 and was buried in the Hayden Cemetery in New Hope, Alabama.  On March 22, 1963, Betty Frazier married Hardy Rivers Keel, son of Oran Allen Keel and Fanny (Clark) Keel.  Hardy and Betty Keel have three children (all born in Madison County, Alabama):  -  Pamela Elise Keel, b. October 15, 1964,  -  Patrick Hardie Keel, b. July 14, 1967,  -  Douglas Heath Keel, b. January 15, 1970.

On August 26, 1961, John Frazier married Martha Jo Woody, daughter of Robert Z. Woody and Allene (Cooper) Woody.  John and Martha Frazier have three children (all born in Madison County, Alabama):  -  Michael Edward Frazier, b. November 29, 1962,  -  Johnna Edwina Frazier, b. August 24, 1965,  -  Victoria Jo Frazier, b. January 20, 1972.  On June 20, 1985, Johnna Frazier married Gardiner Wilson Mann, III, son of Gardiner Wilson Mann, Jr.

ROSA LEE FRAZIER (1.5.5.5.8) is the daughter of Albert Samuel Frazier and Mary Manoah (Shelton) Frazier.  Rosa was born in January of 1914.  On January 13, 1934, Rosa Frazier married Otis Arnold Guerin in Madison County, Alabama.  Otis was born on November 24, 1908 and is the son of James Guerin and Martha (Rousseau) Guerin of Jackson County, Alabama.  Otis and Rosa Guerin are the parents of four children:

April 7, 1963.  On May 16, 1981, Jeannie Guerin married Russell Mernger in Madison County, Alabama.  Russell is the son of John Mernger and Connie Mernger.  Russell and Jeannie Mernger have one daughter:  -  Caroline Mernger, b. 1985.  On October 22, 1955, Wanda Guerin married Troy Moore in Iuka, Mississippi.  Troy was born on December 12, 1936 and is the son of Morgan Moore and Damey (Clark) Moore of Madison County, Alabama.  Troy and Wanda Moore have one daughter:  -  Rhonda Moore, b. October 31, 1961 in Hammond, Indiana.  In 1982, Rhonda Moore married William James McMahan, Jr., son of William James McMahan and Sue (Newgent) McMahan.

On September 3, 1966, Connie Guerin married Norma Underwood in Madison County, Alabama.  Norma is the daughter of Norman Herman Underwood and Gladys (Cantrell) Underwood.  Connie and Norma Guerin have two daughters:  -  Amy Jo Guerin, b. June 16, 1971,  -  Carol Denise Guerin, b. July 28, 1980.  Patsey Guerin married Donald Perry.  Donald was born on December 4, 1949 and is the son of Walter Perry and Annie Ruth (Daniel) Perry.  Donald and Patsey Perry have two children:  -  Melanie Rose Perry, b. July 29, 1970,  -  Mollie Maria Perry, b. September 3, 1975.

DAVID SHELTON (1.5.5.6) is the son of William Pace Shelton and Margaret Ann (Wright) Shelton.  David was born on May 8, 1878 in Jackson County, Alabama.  David Bud Shelton married Cornelia Neaton Ross (born October 8, 1880 in Alabama).  David and Cornelia Shelton were the parents of at least two children:

  Cletiss Clifton Shelton, b. January 2, 1912, Jackson County, Alabama

From 1910 to 1920, David and Cornelia Shelton were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  Cornelia (Ross) Shelton died on April 3, 1928 and David Bud Shelton died on April 23, 1961.  Both were buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery.

On March 8, 1930, Hubert Shelton married Oma Derrick in Jackson County, Alabama.  Oma was born on October 1, 1912 in Jackson County, Alabama and is the daughter of Dotson D. Derrick and Ella (Frazier) Derrick.  Ellas brother, Albert Samuel Frazier, married Davids sister, Mary Manoah Shelton.  Hubert and Oma Shelton had one daughter:  -  Hazel Eloise Shelton, b. September 17, 1931, Jackson County, Alabama.  Hubert Shelton died on December 10, 1937 and was buried in the Blue Spring (Hall) Cemetery.  After Huberts death, Oma moved to Decatur, Alabama.  On May 8, 1944, Oma married a second time to Hubert Butler.  Hubert Butler died on May 19, 1965.  On June 8, 1952, Hazel Shelton married Oran Ben Hunter in Morgan County, Alabama.  Oran was born on May 27, 1926 in Morgan County, Alabama and is the son of Will Hunter and Pattie (Scroggins) Hunter.  Oran and Hazel Hunter have two children:  -  Barry Stewart Hunter, b. November 22, 1961 in Morgan County, Alabama,  -  Kelly Ann Hunter, b. April 20, 1966 in Morgan County, Alabama.

On August 1, 1942, Cletiss Shelton married Alma Rene Brazelton in Madison County, Alabama.  Alma was born on December 25, 1921 and is the daughter of Murphy Brazelton and Sallie (Smith) Brazelton.  Cletiss and Alma Shelton were the parents of two children (both born in Jackson County, Alabama):  -  Linda Ann Shelton, b. April 22, 1947,  -  Janice Gail Shelton, b. October 11, 1949.  Cletiss Shelton died in Jackson County, Alabama and was buried in the Pine Haven Cemetery.  On August 17, 1968, Linda Shelton married Melvin Bruce Johnson (born March 26, 1948) in Jackson County, Alabama and they have one daughter:  -  Bettina Ann Johnson, b. December 10, 1971.  On July 5, 1968, Janice Shelton married Edward Howard Wright (born February 4, 1948) in Jackson County, Alabama and they have one son:  -  James Eric Wright, b.
