WILLIAM RILEY SIMMONS (14.6.7.8) is the son of William Simmons and Susan (Wininger) Simmons.  William was born on September 15, 1856 in Iowa.  William Riley Simmons married Laura Wilkerson and they had four children:

  Frank Hale Simmons, b. September 19, 1900

William Riley Simmons died on August 25, 1928.  Maud Simmons married Walter McCumsey and they had three children:  -  Cecil McCumsey, b. July 10, 1898,  -  Lollie McCumsey,  -  Hazel McCumsey.  Cecil McCumsey died on August 28, 1900.  Lollie McCumsey married George Pierce.  Hazel McCumsey married Frank Pierce.  William Monford Simmons married Mamie Demming and they had two children:  -  Cecil Floyd Simmons, b. October 18, 1916,  -  Milton Hanford Simmons, b. January 10, 1918.  William Monford Simmons died on February 12, 1929.

On May 17, 1940, Cecil Floyd Simmons married Laura Mitchel and they have four children:  -  Haskell Floyd Simmons, b. October 12, 1941,  -  Lloyd Russell Simmons, b. April 26, 1945,  -  Wendell David Simmons, b. May 9, 1952,  -  Sharon Kay Simmons, b. April 7, 1955.  On August 11, 1961, Haskell Floyd Simmons married Patsy Lorrenzen and they have one child:  -  Nicklas Lee Simmons.  On June 7, 1962, Lloyd Russell Simmons married Carolyn Amos and they have two children:  -  Robbin Kay Simmons,  -  Brent Russell Simmons.  On October 19, 1976, Wendell David Simmons married Donna Kay Wright and they have one child:  -  Wendell Jerrod David Simmons.  On June 28, 1974, Sharon Kay Simmons married Mick Dawson and they have one child:  -  Holly Elizabeth Dawson.

On April 10, 1944, Milton Hanford Simmons married Stella Rickner and they have two children:  -  Barbara Ann Simmons, b. September 10, 1945,  -  Carolyn Faye Simmons, b. June 10, 1951.  On November 15, 1963, Barbara Ann Simmons married Otis LeRoy Bruce and they adopted two children:  -  Eric Dean Bruce,  -  Shelley Laine Bruce.  On April 4, 1972, Carolyn Faye Simmons married Bob Wiewel and they have one child:  -  Thysha Rhnee Wiewel.

Frank Hale Simmons married Ethel Deermore and they had three children:  -  Bill Simmons,  -  Bob Simmons,  -  Ruthie Simmons.  Frank Hale Simmons died on February 3, 1976.  Bill Simmons married Wynona Ramsey and they have three children:  -  Lanell Simmons,  -  Diana Simmons,  -  Cherril Ann Simmons.  On January 9, 1949, Bob Simmons married Kay (Watkins) Wolf and they have two children:  -  Bobby Vernon Simmons, b. December 29, 1949,  -  Angela Simmons (adopted), b. August 31, 1970.  Ruthie Simmons married Roy Calvert and they have four children:  -  Lynn Calvert,  -  Gale Calvert,  -  Doyla Calvert,  -  Kevan Calvert (adopted, brother to Angela Simmons who was adopted by Bob Simmons, Ruthie’s brother).

RACHEL MATILDA SIMMONS (14.6.7.10)  is the daughter of William Simmons and Susan (Wininger) Simmons.  Rachel was born on March 2, 1862 in Bedford, Iowa.  On October 23, 1881, Rachel Simmons married James Clark Stein McCarty.  James was born on November 22, 1861 in Missouri and is the son of John Alexander McCarty (born 1827) and Mary (Houser) McCarty (born 1833).  James and Rachel McCarty were the parents of five children:

  Clevie Dennis McCarty, b. August 12, 1884
  Ora Dell McCarty, b. January 26, 1890
  Edna Earl McCarty, b. November 22, 1891
  Elmer Lester McCarty (14.6.7.10.5), b. December 8, 1897, Elk City, Kansas

William McCarty died on March 13, 1934 in Elk City, Kansas and Rachel (Simmons) McCarty died on July 30, 1944 in Elk City, Kansas.  Willie Marion McCarty died as an infant on October 27, 1882.  Clevie McCarty died as a child on  November 26, 1893.  Ora McCarty married and had six daughters and one son.  Ora died on May 24, 1975.  On February 12, 1920, Edna McCarty married Harve N. Baxter and they had two children:  -  Neva Baxter,  -  James W. Baxter.  Edna (McCarty) Baxter died on April 8, 1982.  Neva Baxter married Howard Balding.  Neva married a second time to J. H. Crill.  James Baxter married and had one daughter.  James Baxter married a second time and had one son.

ELMER LESTER McCARTY (14.6.7.10.5) is the son of James Clark Stein McCarty and Rachel Matilda (Simmons) McCary.  Elmer was born on December 8, 1897 in Elk City, Kansas.  On November 30, 1926, Elmer McCarty married Vada Dena Wilke in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Vada was born on April 27, 1902 in Inman, Kansas and is the daughter of Fred Carl Wilke (born 1876, Germany) and Iora Louise (Hoefer) Wilke (born 1881).  Elmer and Vada McCarty had one daughter:

  Edith Mae McCarty, b. January 7, 1928, Elk City, Kansas

Elmer McCarty died on September 13, 1982.  On February 6, 1966, Edith McCarty married Tom Eckles in Reno, Nevada.  Tom and Edith Eckles have no children.

Simmons and Abbie (Buckman) Simmons.  Charles was born on May 23, 1889 in Card Creek, Kansas.  On September 25, 1912, Charles Simmons married Vesta Alice Wheeler near Elk City, Kansas.  Vesta was born on August 12, 1891 in Clay Center, Kansas and is the daughter of Thomas Hugh Wheeler and Emma (Polin) Wheeler.  Charles and Vesta Simmons were the parents of ten children:

Charles Wallace Simmons died on August 22, 1974 in Elk City, Kansas and Vesta (Wheeler) Simmons died on September 10, 1979.  Charles Simmons (son of Charles and Vesta Simmons) died at age two or three years of spinal meningitis.  Anna Bell Simmons married Alva Austin Allison (born March 23, 1913, Sand Springs, Oklahoma) and they had no children.  Alva Allison died on November 4, 1989 in Wichita, Kansas and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Elk City, Kansas.  Robert Simmons and his wife, Mary Simmons, had five children:  -  Laverne Simmons,  -  Loretta Simmons,  -  Homer Simmons,  -  David Simmons,  -  Marcia Simmons.  Laverne Simmons has three children.  In 1959, Loretta Simmons married Lyman Hershberger and they have four children.  Homer Simmons and his wife, Sandy Simmons, have two children.  David Simmons and his wife, Debbie Simmons, have three children.

Johnnie Simmons and his wife, Eleanor Simmons, had six children (four known):  -  Johnnie Lee Simmons,  -  Pricilles Simmons,  -  Leslie Simmons,  -  Judy Simmons.  Johnnie Simmons died on January 10, 1973.  On August 10, 1964, Johnnie Lee Simmons married Carolyn S. Sams and they have three sons.  Pricilles Simmons married a Mr. Dewitt and they have five children.  Leslie Simmons married Terry Lynn Wilson and they have two daughers.  Judy Simmons married Clino Valentino and they have one son and one daughter.  On September 18, 1956, James Simmons married Martha (Clark) Houck in Miami, Oklahoma.  James and Martha Simmons had one child:  -  Leroy Gene Simmons.  Martha (Clark) Simmons died in 1987.  On December 9, 1966, Leroy Simmons married Elva Dene Foraker and they have one son and one daughter.  Dennis Simmons and his wife, Ida Simmons, had two children:  -  Pete Simmons,  -  Cheryl Ann Simmons.  Pete Simmons married Dianne Lynn Moore and they have one son.  On June 29, 1974, Cheryl Ann Simmons married Gordon Romero.  Cheryl Ann married a second time to Jeff Bailey and they have one son and one daughter.  Emma Lou Simmons married Louis Schomaker and have two children:  -  Jerry Schomaker,  -  Ronnie Schomaker.  Jerry Schomaker and his wife, Linda Schomaker, have two sons and one daughter.  Ronnie Schomaker and his wife, Linda Schomaker, have two sons and one daughter.  Pauline Simmons married Nathan Vestal and they had no children.

MARION L. SIMMONS (14.6.7.11.1.8) is the son of Charles Wallace Simmons and Vesta Alice (Wheeler) Simmons.  Marion was born on June 16, 1925 in Elk City, Kansas.  On September 18, 1947, Marion Simmons married Melba I. Thompson in Sedan, Kansas.  Melba was born on April 7, 1931 in Coldwater, Kansas and is the daughter of Floyd Thompson and Mary Etta (Baker) Thompson.  Marion and Melba Simmons were the parents of eight children:

  Marion Ray “Buddy” Simmons

Both Marion and Melba Simmons were killed in a car / train wreck on July 2, 1976.  On October 3, 1971, Roberta Simmons married Ervin Troutman and they have one son and one daughter.  On August 24, 1973, Curtis Simmons married Cindy Kay Seller and they have two children.  Cindy is the daughter of Leonard L. Seller.  Barbara Simmons married Marvin Whitaker and they have three children:  Linda Simmons married Joe Kinder and they have two children.  Alice Simmons married Dr. P. E. Schurr and they have no children.  In December, 1969, Virginia Simmons married Robert Eugene Dennis and they have two children.  Robert is the son of Victor Dennis.

Simmons and Abbie (Buckman) Simmons.  Marion was born on January 11, 1891 in Santa Cruz, California.  On August 20, 1913, Marion Clell Simmons married Agnes Ellen Spiers in Elk City, Kansas.  Agnes was born on July 7, 1892 in Milford, Iowa and is the daughter of Robert Spiers and Margaret (Brown) McBurney Spiers.  Marion and Agnes Simmons were the parents of four children:

GEORGE WASHINGTON WININGER, JR. (14.6.8) is the son of George Washington Wininger and Margery (Pace) Wininger.  George was born in 1822 in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  On June 14, 1844, George Wininger married Nancy C. Milburn in Dubois County, Indiana.  Nancy was born on May 15, 1825 in Kentucky and is the daughter of Johnathan Milburn and Sarah (Casey) Milburn.  From 1850 to 1860, George and Nancy Wineinger were living in Dubois County, Indiana.  George and Nancy Wineinger were the parents of ten children:

JOHNATHAN WINEINGER (14.6.8.1) is the son of George Washington Wininger, Jr. and Nancy (Milburn) Wineinger.  Johnathan was born in 1844 in Dubois County, Indiana.  On May 5, 1867, Johnathan Wineinger married Sarah Ellen Wolfe in Dubois County, Indiana.  Sarah was born in 1846 in Wyandott, Ohio and is the daughter of Peter Wolfe and Mary (Bear) Wolfe.  In 1870, Johnathan and Sarah Wineinger were living in Martin County, Indiana.  Johnathan and Sarah Wineinger were the parents of seven children:

CHARLES ELSWORTH WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.1) is the son of Johnathan Wineinger and Sarah Ellen (Wolfe) Wineinger.  Charles was born on July 25, 1869 in Dubois County, Indiana.  In 1886, Charles Wineinger first married Susie Edwards of Little River County, Arkansas.  Charles and Susie Wineinger were the parents of one daughter:

  Rosie Wineinger

Charles and Susie Wineinger’s marriage was dissolved in 1889.  On March 4, 1900, Charles Wineinger married a second time to Ora Bell Johnson at Chapel Hill, Arkansas.  Ora Bell was born on November 28, 1881 near Lockesburg, Arkansas and is the daughter of John David Johnson and Louisa Ray (Flannigan) Johnson.  John David was one-eighth Choctaw Indian from Mississippi.  Charles was in the timber business starting as a log cutter as well as surveying, buying, selling and getting virgin timber to the early railroad lines.  He later became a woods foreman with a leading early timber company.  Charles and Ora Bell Wineinger were the parents of two children:

IDA MAE WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.1.2) is the daughter of Charles Elsworth Wineinger and Ora Bell (Johnson) Wineinger.  Ida Mae was born on August 17, 1913 at Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  On May 14, 1932, Ida Mae Wineinger married Otho L. Burney at Cerro Gordo, Oklahoma.  Otho was born on December 28, 1913 and is the son of Luther Oliver Burney and Pearl Irene (Beavers) Burney.  Ida Mae is a school teacher and Ortho is a rancher.  Otho and Ida Mae Burney are the parents of two children:

  Claryce Geneva Burney, b. February 18, 1933, Cerro Gordo, Oklahoma
  Paul Wayne Burney, b. February 8, 1938, Broken Bow, Oklahoma

On May 20, 1952, Claryce Burney married Howard Clem Wall (born February 17, 1930 in Dillworth Community near Horatio, Arkansas).  Howard and Claryce Wall are the parents of three children:  -  Craig Burney Wall, b. March 14, 1962,  -  Chris LeDane Wall, b. December 1, 1966,  -  Chana LeAnn Wall, adopted, b. February 10, 1980 in Alvin, Texas.

On August 28, 1960, Paul Burney married Leta Layvonne Abney at Redland, Oklahoma.  Layvonne is the daughter of Tommy Abney and Mary Lee (Smith) Abney.  Paul is a car dealer at Burney-Ashford Chevrolet in Foreman, Arkansas and Layvonne is a school teacher at Haworth, Oklahoma.  Paul and Layvonne are the parents of two children:  -  Paul Randall Burney, b. August 22, 1961,  Texarkana, Arkansas,  -  Michael Abney Burney, b. May, 1966, Texarkana, Arkansas.  On November 26, 1982, Paul Randall Burney married Cindy Follis.  Randy is a welder.  Claryce is a school teacher and Howard is a high school Biology school teacher at Idabel, Oklahoma.

LEO PAUL WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.1.3) is the daughter of Charles Elsworth Wineinger and Ora Bell (Johnson) Wineinger.  Leo was born on October 7, 1915 in Eagletown, Oklahoma.  Leo Wineinger married Beuna Anne Grigory, daughter of Fred Grigory of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  Leo is a contruction company owner and Beuna Ann was a Customer Representative for the Social Security Administration.  Leo served in the Sea Bees during World War II.  Leo and Beuna Ann Wineinger are the parents of three children:

March 1, 1969 in Portsmouth, Virginia,  -  Peter Charles Smith, b. August 24, 1970 in Oak View, California.  June and her husband were divorced on November 6, 1972.  On August 7, 1982, June married a second time to Richard Patrick Seery (born January 12, 1941 in East Moline, Illinois) at Oak View, California.  On February 14, 1986, Richard adopted Michael and Peter and their last names were changed to Seery.  Richard is a Sheriff’s Commander and June is a Senior Deputy Sheriff with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.  On November 30, 1985, Charles Wineinger married Barbara Dornier (born September 28, 1956) at Convent, Louisiana.

Frank Patton died in 1950 in Martha, Oklahoma and Louisa (Wineinger) Patton died in 1959 in Martha, Oklahoma.  Mary Patton married Ruben Davis (born 1895 in Red River County, Texas).  Ruben Davis died in 1965 and Mary (Patton) Davis died in 1982.  Escar Patton married Vivian Saunders (born 1907).  Escar Patton died 1967.  Oscar Patton married Orphie Harris (born 1907).  Lou Etta Patton married Claude Freeman (born 1904).  Claude Freeman died in 1968 and Lou Etta (Patton) Freeman died in 1973.

HENRY SIMPSON WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.5) is the son of Johnathan Wineinger and Sarah Ellen (Wolfe) Wineinger.  Henry was born on February 20, 1881 in Richmond, Arkansas.  On August 4, 1902, Henry Wineinger married Sally Elizabeth Keith in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  Sally was born on April 9, 1880 in Winslow, Indiana.  Henry and Sally Wineinger were the parents of six children:

Wineinger died on June 13, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas and was buried there at the Riverside Cemetery.  Sally (Keith) Wineinger died on June 2, 1956 and was buried in the Greatview Memorial Park Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas.  On March 1, 1927, Elvis Wineinger married Jewel Jane Teague at Gainsville, Texas.  Jewel was born on December 27, 1904 in Commerce, Texas.  Elvis is a retired farmer and Jewel is a school teacher.  Elvis and Jewel Wineinger have two children:  -  Infant son, b. and d. Trudy Murl Wineinger died as an infant on July 1, 1907.  On January 12, 1934, Bonnie Wineinger married Fred Warren Hall.  On August 9, 1942, Henry Wineinger married Lilly Emmaline Hampton.  Euell Wineinger married Lela Evelan McCoy.

ULYSSES QUINTON WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.5.5) is the son of Henry Simpson Wineinger and Sally Elizabeth (Keith) Wineinger.  Ulysses was born on November 17, 1916 in Thornberry, Texas.  On March 2, 1941, Ulysses Wineinger married Opal Eudora Parker at Walters, Oklahoma.  Opal was born in Bonita, Texas and is the daughter of Homer Charles Parker and Eulia Eudora Parker.  Ulysses and Opal Wineinger have three children:

ADA BELL WINEINGER (14.6.8.1.6) is the daughter of Johnathan Wineinger and Sarah Ellen (Wolfe) Wineinger.  Ada Bell was born January 20, 1885 in Little River County, Arkansas.  Ada Bell Wineinger married Austin Wheeler Hounshell and they were the parents of four children:

Ada Bell (Wineinger) Hounshell died on September 15, 1945 in Altus, Oklahoma.  On November 28, 1934, Clara Bell Hounshell married Alson Ray Altaffer who was a Methodist minister.  Alson and Clara Bell Altaffer have one adopted son:  -  James Ray Altaffer, b. March 6, 1944,  Altus, Oklahoma.  On January 10, 1969, James Altaffer married Betty Ann Jessen at Memphis, Tennessee.  In October of 1945, Alla Hounshell married Raymond Bates.  On June 2, 1928, Dorothy Hounshell married Carrol Monroe Cornelius.  Laura Hounshell died in 1935.

JULIA ANN WININGER (14.6.10) is the daughter of George Washington Wininger and Margery (Pace) Wininger.  Julia was born on August 16, 1826 in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  On June 14, 1843, Julia Ann Wininger married David Milburn (born February 15, 1823 in Kentucky) in Dubois County, Indiana.  In 1860 and 1880, David and Julia Milburn were living in Dubois County, Indiana.  David and Julia Milburn were the parents of at least eight children:

ELIZABETH JANE WININGER (14.6.11) is the daughter of George Washington Wininger and Margery (Pace) Wininger.  Elizabeth was born on July 11, 1828 in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  On June 29, 1846, Elizabeth Wininger married Abraham Hankins.  Abraham was born in 1824 in Indiana and is the son of David Hankins and Rachel Hankins.  In 1860, Abraham and Elizabeth Hankins were living in Taylor County, Iowa.  Abraham and Elizabeth Hankins were the parents of at least eight children:

SAMUEL HANKINS (14.6.11.2) is the son of Abraham Hankins and Elizabeth Jane (Wininger) Hankins.  Samuel was born on October 30, 1848 in Indiana.  On February 20, 1868, Samuel Hankins married Amie Landen.  Amie was born on May 21, 1847 in Indiana and is the daughter of Orey Landen and Mariah (Barnes) Landen.  Samuel and Amie Hankins were the parents of at least one daughter:

  Jennie Hankins, b. July 21, 1881

Amie (Landen) Hankins died on February 9, 1896 in Yamhill, Oregon and Samuel Hankins died on January 6, 1919 in Whittier, California.  Both were buried in the Pike Cemetery in Yamhill, Oregon.  On December 25, 1903, Jennie Hankins married Jacob A. Tupper.  Jacob was born on April 10, 1883 in Dilley, Oregon and is the son of William Carlton Tupper and Eliza Lavina (Beal) Tupper.  Jacob and Jennie Tupper were the parents of at least one son:  -  Roscoe E. Tupper, b. August 19, 1906, Dilley, Oregon.  Jennie (Hankins) Tupper died on March 5, 1905 in Dilley, Oregon and Jacob Tupper died on July 17, 1917 in Gaston, Oregon.  On June 20. 1933, Roscoe Tupper married Louise Pritchett (born October 7, 1911 in Park Rapids, Minnesota).  Roscoe Tupper died on October 7, 1978 in McMinnville, Oregon and was buried in the Pike Cemetery in Yamhill, Oregon.
