JOSEPH BENTON PACE (15.12) is the son of William Pace and Elizabeth (Wininger) Pace.  Joseph was born on February 2, 1842 in Alabama.  On June 17, 1860, Joseph Pace married Margaret Talkington.  Margaret was born on October 3, 1844 in Jackson County, Alabama and is the daughter of Andrew Jackson Talkington and Mary Ann (Isbell) Talkington.  From 1870 to 1900, Joseph and Margaret Pace were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  Joseph and Margaret Pace were the parents of at least ten children:

Joseph Pace died on November 20, 1905 and Margaret (Talkington) Pace died on December 21, 1924.  Both were buried in the Pace Cemetery.  Eliza Jane Pace died on January 5, 1940 and was buried in the Pace Cemetery.  Nancy Pace married a Mr. Hambril.  Nancy (Pace) Hambril died on March 23, 1963 and was buried in the Pace Cemetery.  Virginia Pace married Jessie A. Ledwell (born 1884).  Virginia (Pace) Ledwell died in 1945 and Jessie Ledwell died in 1958.  Both were buried in the Pace Cemetery in Jackson County, Alabama.

MARY MALINDA PACE (15.12.1) is the daughter of Joseph Benton Pace and Margaret (Talkington) Pace.  Malindy was born on January 14, 1864 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On December 13, 1882, Malindy Pace married Henry Latham (born 1862) in Jackson County, Alabama.  Henry and Malindy Latham were the parents of five children:

ELIZA JANE LATHAM (15.12.1.2) is the daughter of Henry Latham and Mary Malinda (Pace) Latham.  Jane was born on March 14, 1886 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On February 25, 1912, Jane Latham married George Albert Scharf.  George was born in 1880 in Oil City, Pennsylvania and is the son of Fred Scharf.  George and Jane Scharf were the parents of one son:

George A. GEORGE BENTON SCHARF (15.12.1.2.1) is the son of George Albert Scharf and Eliza Jane (Latham) Scharf.  George was born on July 14, 1913 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On February 5, 1938, George B. Scharf married Ruby Ann Manning (1.7.3.4.4).  Ruby is the daughter of Noah Shelton Manning and Martha Ann (Reed) Manning.  George and Ruby Scharf were the parents of two children:

Rosalie Scharf married Eugene L. JAMES WILLIAM BENTON “BENT” LATHAM (15.12.1.3) is the son of Henry Latham and Mary Malinda (Pace) Latham.  James was born on July 11, 1888 in Jackson Co., Alabama.  On December 31, 1912, James “Bent” Latham married Sadie Belle Gentle (32.3.5.4.2) at Wininger, Jackson County, Alabama.  Sadie was born on May 18, 1896 in Alabama and is the daughter of Elijah Gentle and Nancy Emma (Johnson) Gentle.  Bent and Sadie Latham were the parents of twelve children:

RUBY ANN PACE (15.12.2.3.3) is the daughter of Moses Austin Pace and Amanda Ellander (Sisk) Pace.  Ruby was born in 1919 in Alabama.  Ruby Pace married Charlie Luther Evans of Stevenson, Alabama.  Charlie was born in 1921 and is the son of William E. Evans (b. 1886) and Mary M. (Hall) Evans (b. 1889).  Charlie and Ruby Evans were the parents of seven children:

RUTHIE MAYBELL PACE (15.12.2.3.4) is the daughter of Moses Austin Pace and Amanda Ellander (Sisk) Pace.  Ruthie was born on March 6, 1926.  Ruthie Pace married Joe E. Evans.  Joe and Ruthie Evans were the parents of one daughter:

  Edna Joe Evans

Joe E. Evans was killed in Okinawa on April 28, 1945.  Ruthie married a second time to Robert Luther Anthony who was a railroad conductor.  Robert and Ruthie Anthony are the parents of two children:

  Wanda Lucille Anthony
  Danny Luther Anthony

Robert Luther Anthony died on October 14, 1987.  Edna Evans married John Anthony of Marion County, Tennessee.  John and Edna Anthony had four children:  -  John Anthony, Jr., d. at four months,  -  Shannon Anthony,  -  Shalena Anthony,  -  Shaun Anthony.  Wanda Anthony married Jimmy Case of Marion County, Tennessee and they have one daughter:  -  Stacy Case.  Stacy Casey married a Mr. Williams and they have one son Anthony Williams.  Danny Anthony married Shirley Jean Barnett and they have one son:  -  Robert Clyde Anthony.

ADA MAE PACE (15.12.10) is the daughter of Joseph Benton Pace and Margaret (Talkington) Pace.  Ada was born on October 15, 1888 in Jackson County, Alabama.  Ada Mae Pace married Edward Davis.  Edward and Ada Davis were the parents of at least one daughter:

  Ada Mae Davis  (15.12.10.1)
