FRANKLIN OLLIFF (1.4.6) is the son of Joseph Olliff and Rebecca (Donaldson) Olliff.  Frank was born on December 21, 1829 in Georgia.  On December 15, 1853, Frank Olliff married Mary Brannen in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Mary was born on August 21, 1828 and is the daughter of Solomon Brannen and Ann “Nancy” (Stanford) Brannen.  Solomon Brannen’s father, William Brannen, was a Revolutionary soldier and Ann (Stanford) Brannen’s father, John Stanford, was also a Revolutionary soldier.  John Stanford’s brother, William Stanford, married Elizabeth Olliff (1.1).  Franklin and Mary Olliff were the parents of at least three children:

Mary (Brannen) Olliff died on October 8, 1859.  In 1860, Frank Olliff was living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On November 3, 1864, Frank Olliff married a second time to Sarah Jane Nevils in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Sarah was born on July 29, 1841 in Georgia and is the daughter of Jacob Nevils, Jr. and Elvina (Kirkland) Nevils.  Franklin and Sarah Olliff were the parents of at least nine children:

From 1870 to 1880, Franklin and Sarah Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Franklin Olliff died on June 2, 1886 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  In 1900, Sarah (Nevils) Olliff was living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1910, Sarah (Nevils) Olliff was living with her daughter, Mittie (Olliff) Barnes, in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Sarah (Nevils) Olliff died on May 24, 1920 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  On September 15, 1892, Sarah Olliff married Nathaniel Jones in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Nathaniel was born on April 29, 1873 in Hampton, South Carolina and is the son of Samuel Jones and Rebecca (Flynn) Jones.  Nathaniel Jones died on January 21, 1930.

From 1900 to 1910, John and Mary Skinner were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Lovin Skinner married Mary Ann Emmitt (born April 13, 1885).  Lovin and Mary Ann Skinner had three children:  -  Johnnie Skinner,  -  Emory Skinner,  -  Helen Skinner.  Lovin Skinner died on October 30, 1968 and Mary Ann (Emmitt) Skinner died on February 19, 1977.  Both were buried in the Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Bloys Skinner and his wife, Esther Skinner (born 1902), had at least one daughter:  -  Infant (died as an infant).  Esther Skinner died in 1980 and was buried in the Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Worth Skinner married Alma Akins (1.4.8.1.2.4).  Alma is the daughter of Virgil L. Akins and Effie (Kennedy) Akins.  Alma (Akins) Skinner died on April 4, 1961 in Bulloch County, Georgia.

A. “Lonnie” Alderman in Bulloch County, Georgia.  After Lonnie and Allie were married, they moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Lonnie studied medicine.  Lonnie and Allie Alderman were the parents of seven children:

Brannen, married Daisy Akins’ cousin, Julia Ann Brannen (1.4.4.7.1).  Pleasant and Daisy Brannen were the parents of fourteen children:

July 3, 1961,  -  Karlyn Gay, b. June 5, 1967.  On December 5, 1971, Lehman Brannen married Patsy Larose Kemp and they have one child:  -  Jason Brannen, b. February 13, 1976.

On June 8, 1952, James Brannen married Elizabeth Ann Crowell in Hendersonville, North Carolina.  Elizabeth was born on May 7, 1926 in Portland, Maine and is the daughter of Harry C. Crowell and Elizabeth (Chadwick) Crowell.  James and Elizabeth Brannen had one daughter:  -  Anne Elizabeth Brannen, b. November 19, 1958, Sylvania, Georgia.  Elizabeth (Crowell) Brannen died on December 19, 1965 in Sylvania, Georgia and was buried there in the Memorial Cemetery.  On December 26, 1967, James Brannen married a second time to Dorothy S. SARA SELMA BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.2) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Selma was born on June 10, 1907 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On January 10, 1937, Selma Brannen married Edgar Dean Lanier in Statesboro, Georgia.  Edgar was born on April 29, 1902 in Bulloch County, Georgia and is the son of John Barry Lanier and Mozelle (Bird) Lanier.  Edgar and Selma Lanier were the parents of three children:

On December 12, 1969, Thomas Lanier married Laura Jane Glisson in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Laura was born on March 10, 1949 in Bulloch County, Georgia and is the daughter of Lawton Hires Glisson and Sula Virginia (Bunch) Glisson.  Thomas and Laura Lanier have two children:  -  Carolyn Lanier, b. EUBIE BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.5) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Eubie was born on August 6, 1913 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On August 18, 1935, Eubie Brannen married John Rufus Anderson.  John was born on August 15, 1910 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  John and Eubie Anderson are the parents of two children:

PLEASANT “BURTON” BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.6) is the son of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Burton was born on March 9, 1915 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On May 7, 1948, Pleasant “Burton” Brannen married Almarita Deal (born December 1, 1925) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Burton and Almarita Brannen were the parents of two children:

Almarita (Deal) Brannen died on January 30, 1976.  Burton Brannen died on June 3, 1981 and was buried in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On March 18, 1971, Mickey Ann Brannen married H. L. “Buddy” Dillard and they have two children:  -  Andrew “Andy” Dillard, b. September 9, 1976,  -  Joseph “Joe” Dillard, b. December 1, 1978.  On April 6, 1973, Susan Brannen married Emmitt Renfroe and they have two children:  -  Emmitt “Trey” Renfroe, b. July 15, 1978,  -  Emily Brannen Renfroe, b. December 29, 1980.  John H. Brannen never married.

DAISY PEARL BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.8) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Daisy was born on March 21, 1919 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On October 18, 1947, Daisy Brannen married Woodrow Clayton Gillis in Savannah, Georgia.  Woodrow was born on February 20, 1916 in Truetlen County, Georgia and is the son of Clayton Gillis and Mollie (Brooker) Gillis.  Woodrow and Daisy Gillis were the parents of four children:

   Linda Sue Gillis, b. January 9, 1951, Savannah, Georgia
   Melissa Abigail Gillis, b. February 25, 1955, Savannah, Georgia

Woodrow Gillis, Sr. died on November 25, 1982 in Savannah, Georgia and was buried there.  On May 17, 1986, Linda Gillis married Joseph Daniel Futch.  Joseph was born on December 2, 1944 in Manasas, Georgia and is the son of Kelly Ross Futch and Marie (Gibson) Futch.  Joseph and Linda Futch have no children.  On December 13, 1974, Melissa Gillis married Jack W. Williams, II.  Jack was born on November 19, 1949 in Savannah, Georgia and is the son of Jack Wilbur Williams and Debbie (Wittington) Williams.  Jack and Melissa Williams have two children:  -  Karen Melissa Williams, b. MARY NELL BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.9) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Mary was born on July 14, 1922, Bulloch County, Georgia.  On February 2, 1947, Mary Nell Brannen married William F. Lewis.  William and Mary Nell Lewis were the parents of four children:

   Mary Robyn Lewis, b. November 8, 1948
   Paul Randall Lewis, b. March 6, 1952
   Phillip Edward Lewis, b. February 24, 1954

Mary Nell (Brannen) Lewis died on August 17, 1982 in Tampa, Florida and was buried there.  On June 12, 1970, Roger Lewis married Elizabeth “Beckie” Carter Bolin and they have four children:  -  Catherine Anne Lewis, b. September 4, 1971,  -  Julie Lewis, b. February 2nd,  -  Stacey Lewis, b. April 4th,  -  Mary Kyle Lewis, b. September 30, 1977.  On April 1, 1972, Mary Lewis married Julian Wayne Greer and they have one daughter:  -  Jennifer Greer, b. July 19, 1979.  On June 25, 1977, Paul Lewis married Mary Kathrine Melvin.  Philip Lewis married a woman whose first name is Vicki.
