NANCY PACE (14.3) is the daughter of William Pace and Mary Pace.  According to Jim Brown and Phil Shelton, Nancy was born on March 9, 1774 in Louisa County, Virginia.  According to “Fluvanna County, Virginia Marriages,” Nancy Pace married James “Bellamy” on December 24, 1799 in Fluvanna County, Virginia.  According to Jim Brown and Phil Shelton, Nancy Pace married James “M.” Bellamy.  According to the 1830 census, James Bellomy was born between 1770 and 1780.  In 1815, James Bellomy was living in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  From 1820 to 1830, James Bellomy was living in Scott County, Virginia.  James and Nancy Bellomy were the parents of at least ten children:

James Bellomy died between 1830 and 1840 as Nancy (Pace) Bellomy was living alone in 1840.  From 1840 to 1860, Nancy (Pace) Bellomy was living in Scott County, Virginia.  Nancy (Pace) Bellamy died on June 24, 1862 in Scott County, Virginia and was buried there in the Opossum Creek Cemetery.  Malinda Bellomy was living with her mother, Nancy, from 1850 to 1860.  In 1880, Malinda Bellomy was still living in Scott County, Virginia.

Author’s note:  the birth order and children of James and Nancy Bellomy has changed again.  Nathaniel Bellomy (born 1803) has been determined to the son-in-law of James and Nancy Bellomy and his wife, Mahala Bellomy (born 1814), is actually the daughter of James and Nancy Bellomy.  Because an older child, Nathaniel Bellomy, was removed and because a younger child, Mahala Bellomy, was, added, the Henry numbers assigned to the children of James and Nancy Bellomy are no longer in order as they should be.  These numbers will be eventually changed to the correct numbers.

Foster.  On March 24, 1859, Susannah Bellomy married James A. Rhodes in Scott County, Virginia.  James and Susannah Bellomy had one daughter:  -  Rosanna Rhodes.  Rosanna Rhodes married James J. Bellomy and Jane (Foster) Bellomy.  Elijah was born on January 7, 1856 in Virginia.  On November 4, 1883, Elijah Bellamy married Julia Catherine Wininger (30.11.5.9.4) in Scott County, Virginia.  Julia was born on December 11, 1857 in Scott County, Virginia and is the daughter of Andrew Wininger and Rosannah (Darter) Wininger.  Elijah and Julia Bellamy were the parents of two children:

  Roy E. Bellamy, b. May 9, 1885
  Ethel Jane Bellamy, b. June 4, 1893

Julia (Wininger) Bellamy died on March 12, 1920.  Elijah Bellamy died on March 12, 1920 and was buried in the Bellamy Cemetery in Scott County, Virginia.  On November 20, 1908, Roy Bellamy married Clara E. Palmer.  Clara was born on April 21, 1891 and is the daughter of William Palmer and Ellen (Church) Palmer.  Roy and Clara Bellamy were the parents of two children:  -  Stella Kate Bellamy, b. October 1, 1908,  -  Roy Elmer Bellamy, b. April 2, 1922.  Roy E. Bellamy died in 1958 and Clara (Palmer) Bellamy died in 1975.  Both were buried in the Holston View Cemetery in Scott County, Virginia.  Stella Bellamy married Jack Simpson.

On January 1, 1914, Ethel Jane Bellamy married Herman Harvey Alley.  Herman was born on born May 10, 1881 and is the son of James S. Alley and Eliza (Taylor) Alley.  Herman and Ethel Alley were the parents of four children:  -  Harold Alley, b. and d. November 11, 1917,  -  Irvin Randall Alley, b. Pannell (born February 15, 1862).  Edna (Pannell) Bellomy died on September 27, 1891 and was buried in the Bellamy Cemetery in Scott County, Virginia.  From 1910 to 1920, Nathaniel Bellomy and his second wife, Julie C. Bellomy (born 1865 in Virginia), were living in Scott County, Virginia.  Nathaniel and Julie Bellomy had at least six children:

Elizabeth (Taylor) Bellomy died on May 28, 1870 in Scott County, Virginia.  In 1870, James Bellomy was living in Scott County, Virginia.  On May 6, 1872, James Bellomy married a second time to Manerva Jane Blessing.  Manerva was born in 1839 in Virginia and is the daughter of Joseph Blessing and Arlena (Chapman) Blessing.  Manerva’s brother, Ira Blessing, married Martha Shelton (1.2.2.4).  In 1880, James and Manerva Bellomy were living in Scott County, Virginia.  James and Manerva Bellomy were the parents of four children:

BELLOMY (14.3.4.1.6) is the son of James Patton Bellomy and Manerva Jane (Blessing) Bellomy.  Noah was born in April, 1873 in Scott County, Virginia.  From 1910 to 1920, Noah Bellomy and his wife, Katie Bellomy (born 1888 in Tennessee), were living in Scott County, Virginia.  Noah and Katie Bellomy were the parents of at least four children:

FREDERICK W. BELLOMY (14.3.4.3) is the son of William R. Bellomy and Julia A. (Winegar) Bellomy.  Frederick was born on August 22, 1833 in Virginia.  On September 17, 1871, Frederick Bellomay married Jane Christian (born May 18, 1846 in Tennessee) in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  In 1880, Frederick and Jane Bellomy were living in Scott County, Virginia.  Frederick and Jane Bellomy were the parents of at least five children:

  Susanna M. Bellomy, b. 1875, Virginia
  Elizabeth A. Bellomy, b. 1877, Virginia

Frederick Bellomy died on October 30, 1891 and was buried in the Bellomy Cemetery in Scott County, Virginia.  In 1900, Jane Bellomy was still living in Scott County, Virginia.  Jane Bellomy died on August 10, 1909 and was buried in the Bellomy Cemetery in Scott County, Virginia.  In 1900, William J. Bellomy and his wife, P. A. Bellomy (born September, 1877 in Virginia), were living in Scott County, Virginia.  William and P. A. Bellomy were the parents of at least five children:  -  L. B. On February 6, 1833, Joseph Bellamy married a second time to Rebecca Taylor in Washington County, Tennessee.  Rebecca was born in 1818 in North Carolina.  In 1850, Joseph and Rebecca Bellamy were living in Scott County, Virginia.  Joseph and Rebecca Bellamy were the parents of eight children:

Bellamy died as a child on June 23, 1859 in Scott County, Virginia.
