HENRY IVERSON OLLIFF (1.4.4.11) is the son of John Olliff and Lucy (Kirkland) Olliff.  Henry was born on June 20, 1863 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On January 18, 1893, Henry Olliff married Frances Theressa Byrd (born February of 1874 in Georgia) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Henry and “Fannie” Olliff were the parents of at least four children:

  Della Graham Olliff, b. February, 1897, Bulloch County, Georgia
  Lena Almeda Olliff, b. May, 1899, Bulloch County, Georgia

In 1900, Henry and Fannie Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1910, Henry and Fannie Olliff were living in Emanuel County, Georgia.  Henry Olliff died on December 28, 1923.  In June of 1917, Bertha Olliff married William Henry Hall and they had two children:  -  Eunice Marriette Hall,  -  Sara Jane Hall.  Eunice Hall married Roy Edwin Clarke and they have three children:  -  Charles Arthur Clarke,  -  Allen Hall Clarke,  -  Roy Edwin Clarke, Jr.  Sara Jane Hall married Ray William Cox and they have six children:  -  Harriet Cox,  -  John David Cox,  -  Joy Ann Cox,  -  Sara Frances Cox,  -  Steven Malcom Cox,  -  Ray William Cox, Jr.

In June of 1917, Della Olliff married Alpha Lewis Murrah and they had four children:  -  Robert Olliff Murrah,  -  Jack Allen Murrah,  -  Maurice Fredrick Murrah,  -  Marion Joseph Murrah.  Robert Murrah married Helen West and they have two children:  -  Helen Louise Murrah,  -  Robert Charles Murrah.  Jack Murrah married Ana Carlson and they have two children (adopted):  -  Nancy Ann Murrah,  -  Keith Worden Murrah.  Maurice Murrah married Aleyda DeSoto and they have one child:  -  Marlene Murrah.

Lena Olliff married a Mr. Caldwell and they have two children:  -  Helen Bird Caldwell,  -  Francis Eugenia Caldwell.  Helen Caldwell married a Mr. Morris and they have two children:  -  Jennifer Caldwell Morris,  -  Dorothy Bird Morris.  Helen married a second time to Robert Pinkney Arthur, Jr. and they have one son:  -  Robert Pinkney Arthur, III (adopted).  Frances Olliff married John D. Pate and they had no children.

MATTHEW T. OLLIFF (1.4.4.12) is the son of John Olliff and Lucy (Kirkland) Olliff.  Matthew was born on November 17, 1864 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On March 2, 1886, Matthew Olliff married Mary Ann Elizabeth Akins (1.4.2.1.1) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Mary was born on April 13, 1866 in Georgia and is the daughter of Solomon Akins and Mary Lavenia (Olliff) Akins.  Matthew and Mary Olliff were the parents of at least seven children:

From 1900 to 1910, Matthew and Mary Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1910, Mary’s mother, Lavenia (Olliff) Akins, was living with Matthew and Mary Olliff.  Matthew Olliff died on June 24, 1917.  Lorie Olliff married Sam Groover and they have one daughter:  -  Mildred Groover.  Mildred Groover married E. R. May.  On December 4, 1926, Henry Olliff married Mary Wilson, daughter of H. N. Wilson.  Henry and Mary Olliff had no children and lived in Savannah, Georgia.

On August 20, 1922, Jimps Olliff married Eva Ruth Groover, daughter of J. J. Groover.  Jimps Olliff married a second time to Lee Hendrix and they have two children:  -  Palmer Weldon Olliff, b. June 13, 1923,  -  Bonnell Olliff, b. February 15, 1926.  Jimps Olliff died in March of 1971.  Palmer Olliff is the father of two children:  -  Pamela Olliff,  -  Deborah Olliff.  Palmer Olliff lives in Charleston, South Carolina.  Bonnell Olliff is the father of one daughter:  -  Sandra Olliff.  Matthew and Lavenia Olliff’s last child died as an infant on December 23, 1904 and was buried in the Akins Cemetery in Bulloch County, Georgia.

MINONA PRUELLA “NONA” OLLIFF (1.4.4.12.1) is the daughter of Matthew T. Olliff and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Akins) Olliff.  Nona was born on August, 1888 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On December 13, 1908, Minona Olliff married Charlie Rabun and they are the parents of two children:

  J. C. Rabun
  Alma Rabun

Minona (Olliff) Rabon lived in Chadbourn, North Carolina.  J. C. Rabun married Annie B. Fields and they have one child:  -  Carlie Randall Rabun.  Alma Rabun married Wilton Oliver and they have two children:  -  Deloris Oliver,  -  Judy Oliver.  Deloris Oliver married Charles Jernigan and they have one son:  -  Joseph Linwood Jernigan.

DEWEY M. OLLIFF (1.4.4.12.5) is the son of Matthew T. Olliff and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Akins) Olliff.  Dewey was born on August 25, 1898, Bulloch County, Georgia.  Dewey Olliff married Agnes Akins.  Agnes was born in 1900 in Georgia and is the daughter of Harley Akins and Eliza (Anderson) Akins.  Dewey and Agnes Olliff had two children:

  Mary Hilda Olliff, b. 1919, Georgia
  Henry Dewey Olliff

In 1920, Dewey and Agnes Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Mary Olliff married Paul Waters and they have one son:  -  Paul Waters, Jr.

FRANK WILLIAM OLLIFF (1.4.4.12.4) is the son of Matthew T. Olliff and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Akins) Olliff.  Frank was born on July 6, 1896 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On April 15, 1922, Frank W. Olliff married Annie Lee Roach in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Annie was born on February 28, 1903 in Bulloch County, Georgia and is the daughter of John Roach and Alice (Akins) Roach (born 1873).  Frank and Annie Olliff were the parents of three children:

  Ruby Hazel Olliff, b. November 25, 1923, Bulloch County, Georgia
  Leo Beverly Olliff, b. December 25, 1925, Statesboro, Georgia
  Inman Jerome Olliff, b. July 14, 1930, Statesboro, Georgia

Frank W. Olliff died on May 19, 1971 and Annie (Roach) Olliff died on October 24, 1971.  Both died in Bulloch County, Georgia and both were buried there in the Langston Cemetery.  On July 14, 1942, Ruby Olliff married Johnie B. McCorkel (born October 25, 1920) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Johnie and Ruby McCorkel had one daughter:  -  Charlotte McCorkel, b. August 12, 1948, Statesboro, Georgia.  Ruby (Olliff) McCorkel died on October 9, 1990 in Statesboro, Georgia.  On June 27, 1970, Charlotte McCorkel married Dennis Gary Edwards (born August 6, 1949) in Statesboro, Georgia.  Dennis and Charlotte Edwards have two children:  -  Dennis Gary Edwards, Jr., b. July 28, 1974, Morganton, North Carolina,  -  John Edwards, b. April 25, 1978, Claxton, Georgia.  As of 1992, Dennis and Charlotte Edwards were living in Statesboro, Georgia.

On November 29, 1947, Leo “Beverly” Olliff married Mary Evelyn Cartee (born August 8, 1927) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Beverly and Mary Olliff have two children:  -  Beverly Wayne Olliff, b. September 28, 1951, Statesboro, Georgia,  -  Marcia Evelyn Olliff, b. December 15, 1954, Statesboro, Georgia.  As of 1992, Beverly and Mary Olliff were living in Statesboro, Georgia.  On April 12, 1985, Beverly “Wayne” Olliff married Linda Prosser (born September 25, 1954) in Statesboro, Georgia.  Wayne and Linda Olliff have one son:  -  Harrison Wayne Olliff, b. January 5, 1989.  As of 1992, Wayne and Linda Olliff were living in Statesboro, Georgia.  On November 22, 1986, Marcia Olliff married Philip L. Fortner (born June 18, 1947) and they have three children:  -  Beverly Eve Anderson Fortner, b. May 5, 1971,  -  Carson L. Fortner, b. December 15, 1987,  -  Millie Sterling Fortner, b. May 2, 1991.  As of 1992, Philip and Marcia Fortner were living in Sylvania, Georgia.  Marcia married a second time to Michael Anderson and they have one child:  -  Beverly Eve Anderson.

On November 19, 1967, Inman Olliff married Mrs. Joyce (Beasley) Robbins (born January 20, 1939) in Statesboro, Georgia.  Inman and Joyce Olliff have two children:  -  Bobby Ray Robbins (step-son), b. March 31, 1959, Statesboro, Georgia,  -  David Inman Olliff, b. August 15, 1970, Statesboro, Georgia.  As of 1992, Inman and Joyce Olliff were living in Statesboro, Georgia.  On October 20, 1979, Bobby Robbins married Charlene Mincey (born June 6, 1962) in Statesboro, Georgia.  Bobby and Charlene Robbins have three children:  -  Candice Faith Robbins, b. December 6, 1983,  -  Joni Loraine Robbins, b. January 20, 1987,  -  Bobby Eugene Robbins, b. December 12, 1990.

BENJAMIN HILL OLLIFF (1.4.4.13) is the son of John Olliff and Lucy (Kirkland) Olliff.  Benjamin was born on August 18, 1866 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On August 22, 1897, Benjamin Olliff married Josephine Gertrude Hendrix in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Josie was born on January 19, 1879 in Bryan County, Georgia and is the daughter of John Malcolm Hendrix and Louisa Victoria (Campbell) Hendrix.  Josephine’s sister, Della Hendrix, married Benjamin Olliff’s cousin, William Harrison Akins (1.4.2.1.5).  Ben and Josie Olliff were the parents of eight children:

From 1900 to 1910, Ben and Josie Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Benjamin Hill Olliff was “killed by a passenger train” on December 25, 1918 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  In 1920, Josie (Hendrix) Olliff and her children were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Josephine (Hendrix) Olliff died on June 20, 1950 in Savannah, Georgia and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  On December 16, 1917, John Olliff married Mattie Lucy Porter in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Lucy was born on August 24, 1897 in Georgia and is the daughter of John K. Porter.  John and Lucy Olliff had two children (adopted):  -  Larry Brown,  -  Nan Brown.  In 1920, John and Lucy Olliff were living with Lucy’s parents in Bulloch County, Georgia.  John was very active in the Democratic Party and was chairman of the Bulloch County, Georgia Democratic Committee for sixteen years.  John Olliff died on December 27, 1979 in Bulloch County, Georgia and was buried there in the United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Lucy (Porter) Olliff died on August 9, 1992 in Statesboro, Georgia and was buried there in the United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Rexford Olliff was “run over by an automobile” and died on February 6, 1921.  Rexford Olliff was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  Rexford was in Savannah searching for his mother who had been missing.  She had a lapse of memory while shopping in Savannah and had been taken to a hospital.

On September 20, 1924, Louise Olliff married Claude McTeer Yeamans.  Claude was born on October 10, 1901 in Bryan County, Georgia and is the son of Benjamin Raid Yeamans and Sarah Gertrude (McTeer) Yeamans.  Claude and Louise Yeamans had two children:  -  John Olliff Yeamans, b. November 1, 1925,  -  Claude McTeer Yeamans, Jr., b. July 11, 1929.  Claude Yeamans, Sr. died around 1979 in Savannah, Georgia.  Louise (Olliff) Yeamans lives in Savannah, Georgia.  John Yeamans married Marguerite Calk.  John Yeamans married a second time to Kathy Morgan.  Claude Yeamans, Jr. married Ellen Hubbard.  Claude Yeamans, Jr. married a second time to Patricia Exley.  Claude Yeamans, Jr. died in March of 1988.

Horace Olliff died as an infant in 1906 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  Duncan Olliff never married.  Duncan Olliff died around 1986.  Lehmon Olliff never married.  Lehmon Olliff died around 1984.  Around 1932, Robert Olliff married Georgia Nalley in Savannah, Georgia.  Robert Olliff married a second time to Velma Tillman.  Robert Olliff died on March 14, 1963 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.

Adele Olliff married Sherwood Stengel Troxel and lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Joseph Olliff, Jr. married Ethel Makes and lives in Butztown, Pennsylvania.  Joseph and Ethel Olliff had three children:  -  Joseph Benjamin Olliff, III,  -  Christine Olliff,  -  Bonnie Olliff.  Joseph Olliff, Jr. died in January of 1969.  William Olliff died and had no children.  Beatrice Olliff married a Mr. Laughlin.  Beatrice married a second time to Robert Donald O’Donnell.
