FRANKLIN OLLIFF (1.4.6) is the son of Joseph Olliff and Rebecca (Donaldson) Olliff.  Frank was born on December 21, 1829 in Georgia.  On December 15, 1853, Frank Olliff married Mary Brannen in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Mary was born on August 21, 1828 and is the daughter of Solomon Brannen and Ann “Nancy” (Stanford) Brannen.  Solomon Brannen’s father, William Brannen, was a Revolutionary soldier and Ann (Stanford) Brannen’s father, John Stanford, was also a Revolutionary soldier.  John Stanford’s brother, William Stanford, married Elizabeth Olliff (1.1).  Franklin and Mary Olliff were the parents of at least three children:

Mary (Brannen) Olliff died on October 8, 1859.  In 1860, Frank Olliff was living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On November 3, 1864, Frank Olliff married a second time to Sarah Jane Nevils in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Sarah was born on July 29, 1841 in Georgia and is the daughter of Jacob Nevils, Jr. and Elvina (Kirkland) Nevils.  Franklin and Sarah Olliff were the parents of at least nine children:

From 1870 to 1880, Franklin and Sarah Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Franklin Olliff died on June 2, 1886 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  In 1900, Sarah (Nevils) Olliff was living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1910, Sarah (Nevils) Olliff was living with her daughter, Mittie (Olliff) Barnes, in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Sarah (Nevils) Olliff died on May 24, 1920 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  On September 15, 1892, Sarah Olliff married Nathaniel Jones in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Nathaniel was born on April 29, 1873 in Hampton, South Carolina and is the son of Samuel Jones and Rebecca (Flynn) Jones.  Nathaniel Jones died on January 21, 1930.

Brannen, married Daisy Akins’ cousin, Julia Ann Brannen (1.4.4.7.1).  In 1910, Pleasant and Daisy Brannen were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Pleasant and Daisy Brannen were the parents of fourteen children:

Crowell and Elizabeth (Chadwick) Crowell.  James and Elizabeth Brannen had one daughter:  -  Anne Elizabeth Brannen, b. November 19, 1958, Sylvania, Georgia.  Elizabeth (Crowell) Brannen died on December 19, 1965 in Sylvania, Georgia and was buried there in the Memorial Cemetery.  On December 26, 1967, James Brannen married a second time to Dorothy S. Brannen in Effingham County, Georgia.  On October 19, 1985, Anne E. Brannen married James Zuber.  Jack F. Brannen never married.

SARA SELMA BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.2) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Selma was born on June 10, 1907 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On January 10, 1937, Selma Brannen married Edgar Dean Lanier in Statesboro, Georgia.  Edgar was born on April 29, 1902 in Bulloch County, Georgia and is the son of John Barry Lanier and Mozelle (Bird) Lanier.  Edgar and Selma Lanier were the parents of three children:

  Sara Grace Lanier, b. October 30, 1939, Statesboro, Georgia

EUBIE BRANNEN (1.4.6.1.7.5) is the daughter of Pleasant Burton Brannen and Daisy (Akins) Brannen.  Eubie was born on August 6, 1913 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On August 18, 1935, Eubie Brannen married John Rufus Anderson.  John was born on August 15, 1910 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  John and Eubie Anderson are the parents of two children:

John Kennedy, Jr. graduated from Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia Law School.  John was a Navy veteran and a member of the Naval Reserve until 1970.  He practiced law with the firm of John G. Sognier until January of 1980.  John served as the head of the education committee of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce and was instrumental in forming the Citizens Committee for Education which was sucessful in raising substantial additional funds for the local public school system in the 1950s.  He was the president and managing partner of Kennedy and Lewis, P. C.  He was also president of National Building Company.  John Kennedy, Jr. died on June 18, 1992 in Savannah, Georgia and was buried in the Bonaventure Cemetery.  Connie Kennedy married a Mr. Darbyshire.  As of June of 1992, Connie (Austin) Kennedy was living in Savannah, Georgia, John G. Kennedy, III was living in New York, Austin Kennedy was living in Charlotte, North Carolina and Connie (Kennedy) Darbyshire was living in Savannah, Georgia.

MARY LOU CASON (1.4.6.3.1.4) is the daughter of Carlos Cason and Lula (Brannen) Cason.  Mary Lou was born on April 14, 1904 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Mary Lou Cason married William Eugene Deal (born February 13, 1902).  William and Mary Lou Deal were the parents of six children:

WILLIAM DUDLEY “DUD” BRANNEN (1.4.6.3.8) is the son of James Iverson Brannen and Julia R. (Olliff) Brannen.  Dudley was born in March of 1900 in Georgia.  Dud Brannen married Rea Jones.  Rea was born on September 15, 1900 in Georgia and is the daughter of Harley Thomas Jones (born 1962) and Cassie (Riggs) Jones.  Dud and Rea Brannen were the parents of three children:

  Eloise Brannen, b. 1918, Georgia
  J. W. Brannen
  Frances Brannen

In 1920, Dudley and Rea Brannen were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Eloise Brannen married Dewey Swindell.  Frances Brannen married John Griffin.
