THOMAS SAMUEL BRYAN (3.4) is the son of Samuel Bryan and Charlotte Greer (Charter) Bryan.  Thomas was born in 1831 in Tennessee.  On March 18, 1852, Thomas “Bryant” married his first cousin, Nancy J. “Bryant” in Maury County, Tennessee.  Nancy was born in 1835 in Tennessee and is the daughter of James Thomas Bryan (2.3), brother of Samuel Bryan (3).  Thomas and Nancy Bryan were the parents of at least five children:

  Missouri Ella Bryan (3.4.1), b. February 6, 1853, Maury County, Tennessee
  Sarah Jane Bryan (3.4.2), b. July 8, 1854, Williamsport, Tennessee
  Mary C. Bryan, b. 1856, Maury County, Tennessee

  Robert Bryan, b. 1860, Maury County, Tennessee

In 1860, T. S. and N. J. “Bryant” were living in Maury County, Tennessee.  Thomas Bryan served in Company C of the Ninth Tennessee Battalion Cavalry of the Confederate Army.  Nancy (Bryan) Bryan died in 1862.  Thomas Bryan died in an Union Prison in Terre Haute, Indiana on March 10, 1862.  Mary C. Bryan died young.  According to the 1885 legal action of T. J. Bryan vs. C. Hughes, Florence Bryan married a Mr. Moore and died prior to 1885.  According to Martha (Mobley) McGill, Florence Bryan married Robert Mobley, a first cousin of Myatt Ambrose Mobley who married Ella Bryan (3.4.1).  Robert Bryan died as an infant in 1861 or 1862.

MISSOURI ELLA BRYAN (3.4.1) is the daughter of Thomas Samuel Bryan and Nancy J. (Bryan) Bryan.  Ella was born on February 6, 1853 in Maury County, Tennessee.  On April 6, 1871, Ella Bryan married Myatt Ambrose Mobley, Jr.  Myatt was born on December 13, 1850 in Hickman County, Tennessee and is the son of Myatt Ambrose Mobley, Sr. and Susan Ann (Harville) Mobley.  Myatt and Ella Mobley were the parents of at least nine children:

Mobley died on December 25, 1907 in Hickman County, Tennessee and Anie Belle (Anderson) Mobley died on May 26, 1940.  Minnie B. Mobley died as an infant on September 29, 1875.  Ella B. Mobley died on August 16, 1905.  Myatt Arthur Mobley died on August 24, 1903.  Sudie Mobley died as an infant on November 12, 1884.

WILLIAM ROBERT MOBLEY (3.4.1.1) is the son of Myatt Ambrose Mobley, Jr. and Missouri Ella (Bryan) Mobley.  Robert was born on May 21, 1872 in Hickman County, Tennessee.  On December 22, 1901, Robert Mobley married Sarah Josephine McCaleb in Hickman County, Tennessee.  Sarah was born on November 17, 1882 in Hickman County, Tennessee and is the daughter of Little Berry McCaleb and Fannie (Ferguson) McCaleb.  In 1910, William and Sallie Mobley were living in Hickman County, Tennessee.  Robert and Sallie Mobley were the parents of six children:

WALKER ANDERSON MOBLEY (3.4.1.2.7) is the son of Looney Brown Mobley and Eulah Adeline (Anderson) Mobley.  Walker was born on July 12, 1915 in Hickman County, Tennessee.  On December 26, 1941, Walker Mobley married Bobby Evelyn Shipp in Hickman County, Tennessee.  Walker and Bobby Mobley were the parents of two children:

  Joseph Walker Mobley, b. July 7, 1944, Hickman County, Tennessee

Walker Anderson Mobley died on May 9, 1973 in Davidson County, Tennessee and was buried there in the Springhill Cemetery.  On September 8, 1961, Robbie Mobley married Robert Morgan (born May 25, 1939) and they had two children:  -  Gregory Todd Morgan, b. March 22, 1964,  -  Lee Ann Morgan, b. November 17, 1967.  Robert and Robbie Morgan were later divorced and Robbie has married a second time to a man with the first name of Harry.

Wilford McDonald died at the age of three on August 30, 1901.  William McDonald died, unmarried, on November 29, 1919.  Harry McDonald died as an infant on June 25, 1903.  On July 16, 1933, Mary Elizabeth McDonald married Dennis Cleophas George.

ELLIS HARDIN McDONALD (3.4.1.4.2) is the son of George Ellis McDonald and Mary Amelia (Mobley) McDonald.  Ellis was born on March 12, 1897.  On May 9, 1914, Ellis McDonald married Tommy Esther Peery (born October 31, 1899).  Ellis and Tommy McDonald were the parents of four children:

JOHN ELMER McDONALD (3.4.1.4.6) is the son of George Ellis McDonald and Mary Amelia (Mobley) McDonald.  Elmer was born on November 21, 1905.  On August 22, 1924, Elmer McDonald married Mary Gerelene Allen (born August 8, 1906).  Elmer and Mary McDonald were the parents of four children:

  Robert Collins McDonald, b. August 31, 1929
  Burnace Ralph McDonald, b. May 11, 1940
  Billy Charles McDonald, b. December 27, 1941

John Elmer McDonald died on August 12, 1965.  On May 6, 1948, Gelene McDonald married Fred Church (born July 8, 1923).  Fred and Galene Church have two children:  -  Mildred Corine Church, b. April 9, 1955,  -  Carolyn Ruth Church, b. February 18, 1957.  On October 25, 1974, Mildred Church married Donald Orr (born July 15, 1950).  On June 2, 1974, Carolyn Church married Barry Jenkins (born June 10, 1952).

On January 4, 1950, Collins McDonald married June Bryant (born January 24, 1930).  Collins and June McDonald have two children:  -  Robert Mike McDonald, b. In 1958, Burnace McDonald first married Frances Guy.  Burnace married a second time to woman whose name was Carol.  In 1979, Burnace McDonald married a third time to Mary Locke.  Burnace McDonald was the father of five children:  -  Burnace Ralph McDonald, Jr., b. OTEY AMBROSE MOBLEY (3.4.1.5) is the son of Myatt Ambrose Mobley, Jr. and Missouri Ella (Bryan) Mobley.  Otey was born on September 6, 1878 in Hickman County, Tennessee.  On March 5, 1918, Otey Mobley married Mable Lena Fowlkes in Washington, D. C.  Mable was born on March 5, 1895 in Hickman County, Tennessee and is the daughter of John Fowlkes and Betty (McClanahan) Fowlkes.  Otey and Mable Mobley were the parents of four children:

  Jack Bryan Mobley, b. August 28, 1919, Pomona, California
  Joseph Daniel Mobley, b. March 9, 1921, Pomona, California
  Betty Sue Mobley, b. January 7, 1924, Pomona, California
  Mary Ruth Mobley, b. November 12, 1925, Pomona, California

Otey Mobley died on December 7, 1952 in Claremont, California.  On November 14, 1943, Jack Mobley married Wendalin Millar.  Jack Mobley was in the Navy during World War II.  Joseph Mobley was a Captain in the Rangers and was awarded the Silver Star for Bravery during World War II.  On October 9, 1946, Joseph Mobley married Susan Tannie Durrett.  Betty Sue Mobley was in the Waves during World War II.  On May 1, 1949, Betty Sue Mobley married James Eugene Turman.  On March 30, 1947, Mary Mobley married James Arthur Watt.

MARTHA ELLA MOBLEY (3.4.1.9) is the daughter of Myatt Ambrose Mobley and Missouri Ella (Bryan) Mobley.  Mattie was born on October 2, 1886 in Hickman County, Tennessee.  On February 10, 1915, Mattie Mobley married John Ross McGill.  John was born on September 13, 1886 in Centreville, Tennessee and is the son of John Jerome McGill and Sarah Alice (Eason) McGill.  John and Mattie McGill were the parents of two children:

  Anie Pauline McGill (3.4.1.9.1), b. October 9, 1916, Centreville, Tennessee
  John Ross McGill, Jr., b. January 21, 1920

From 1928 to 1970, Mattie (Mobley) McGill was living in Ontario, Oregon.  Mattie (Mobley) McGill died on January 22, 1970.  John McGill, Sr. died on October 11, 1979.  John Ross McGill, Jr. attended Oregon State University in Corvallis but entered the Army Air Corp his Junior year.  Jack was a first lieutenant stationed in the Philippine Islands.  Jack was stricken with encephalitis and died on January 20, 1947 in Manilla, Philippine Islands.  Jack was buried in Ontario, Oregon.

ANIE PAULINE McGILL (3.4.1.9.1) is the daughter of John Ross McGill and Martha Ella (Mobley) McGill.  Pauline was born on October 9, 1916 in Centreville, Tennessee.  In 1940, Pauline received a business degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis.  On November 23, 1946, Pauline McGill married Robert Armstrong.  Robert and Pauline Armstrong have two children:

  Patricia Elizabeth Armstrong, b. January 30, 1953
  Robert McGill Armstrong, b. October 2, 1954

As of 1983, Pauline (McGill) Armstrong was living in San Francisco, California.  On October 26, 1974, Patricia Armstrong married Phillip T. Thimell and they have two children:  -  Alanna Elizabeth Thimell, b. July 6, 1980,  -  Megan Ruth Thimell, b. August 12, 1983.  Phillip Thimell and Robert Armstrong are both graduates of the University of California, Berkeley.

SARAH JANE BRYAN (3.4.2) is the daughter of Thomas Samuel Bryan and Nancy J. (Bryan) Bryan.  Sarah was born on July 8, 1854 in Williamsport, Tennessee.  On December 22, 1870, Sarah Bryan married Philly Able Hoover.  Philly was born around 1850 in Hickman County, Tennessee and is the son of Phil Hoover.  Philly and Sarah Hoover were the parents of one daughter:

  Anna Eliza Hoover (3.4.2.1), b. December 11, 1872, Williamsport, Tennessee

Philly Hoover died in March of 1873 in Hickman County, Tennessee and was buried there in Hickman County.  In 1874, Sarah married a second time to Thomas P. Moore in Hickman County, Tennessee.  Thomas was born April 8, 1848 in Hickman County, Tennessee.  Thomas and Sarah Moore were the parents of eight children:

In 1880, Thomas and “Sallie” Moore were living in Conejas County, Colorado.  From 1900 to 1910, Thomas and Sarah Moore were living in Nemaha County, Nebraska.  Thomas Moore, Sr. died on October 3, 1922 in Brownville, Nebraska and was buried there.  Sarah (Bryan) Moore died on June 13, 1928 in Independence, Missouri and was buried in Brownville, Nebraska.  Walter Moore died young in May of 1879.  Florence Moore first married Oscar Redfield and later married Erwin Willard.  Florence (Moore) Willard died on May 21, 1947.  In 1910, Henry Moore was living with Charles Fowler in Nemaha County, Nebraska.  Henry Moore was a barber.  Thomas Moore, Jr. died on January 11, 1917.

ANNA ELIZA HOOVER (3.4.2.1)  is the daughter of Sarah Jane (Bryan) Hoover and Philly Able Hoover.  Anna was born on December 11, 1872 in Williamsport, Tennessee.  On April 29, 1894, Anna Hoover married James Edward Majors in Brownville, Nebraska.  James was born on April 10, 1870 in Hancock County, Illinois and is the son of Henry Harrison Majors and Elizabeth (Fisher) Majors.  James and Anna Majors were the parents of seven children:

In 1900, James and Anna Majors were living in Nemaha County, Nebraska.  James Majors died on March 6, 1926 in Brownville, Nebraska and was buried there in Brownville.  Anna married a second time to Charles Andrews.  Vida Majors married Charley Spillman.  Vida (Majors) Spillman died on December 29, 1938.  Ethel Majors married McKinley League.  Warren Majors died on the day that he was born, December 1, 1900.  Helen Majors died at the age of six on August 22, 1909.  Fern Majors died at the age of one on April 2, 1907.  Roy Majors died at the age of twelve on August 20, 1920.  Thelma Majors married John Thomas.

CORNELIA BELLE MOORE (3.4.2.8) is the daughter of Thomas P. Moore and Sarah Jane (Bryan) Moore.  Cornelia was born on August 9, 1889 in Manassa, Colorado.  Cornelia Moore married R. R. Redfield and they had three children:

  Dean Redfield, b. 1910
  Willamae Redfield, b. 1917
  Bonnie Redfield, b. 1920

As of 1947, Cornelia (Moore) Redfield was living in Independence, Missouri.  Dean Redfield served four years in the United States Army and was living in Miami, Florida in 1947.  Willamae married a doctor who served four years in the military.  Willamae and her husband have two sons and as of 1947, they were living in Topeka, Kansas.  Bonnie married and her husband served four and one-half years in the military.  Bonnie and her husband have one son and were living in Independence, Missouri in 1947.

ELIZABETH MAE MOORE (3.4.2.9) is the daughter of Thomas P. Moore and Sarah Jane (Bryan) Moore.  Elizabeth was born on April 5, 1893 in Brownville, Nebraska.  Elizabeth Moore married a Mr. Smith and they have two sons and two daughters.  As of 1947, Elizabeth and her family were living in Iowa.
