MALINDA ORTON (1.5.3.6) is the daughter of John Orton and Rachael (Campbell) Orton.  Malinda was born on May 20, 1839 in Perry County, Illinois.  On March 30, 1854, Malinda Orton married Wiley House in Perry County, Illinois.  Wiley was born on November 24, 1835 in Perry County, Illinois and is the son of Jacob House and Elizabeth (Freeze) House.  From 1860 to 1880, Wiley and Malinda House were living in Perry County, Illinois.  Wiley and Malinda House were the parents of nine children:

  Jacob Edward House (1.5.3.6.2), b. October 21, 1857, Perry County, Illinois

In 1900, Wiley House was living in Perry County, Illinois.  Wiley House died on April 21, 1911 in Perry County, Illinois and was buried in the House Family Cemetery near Du Quoin, Illinois.  Malinda (Orton) House died on May 10, 1911 in East St. Louis, Illinois.  On October 25, 1897, William House married Julia Marlow.  William House died on February 16, 1937.  On October 7, 1896, Harry House married Maude Owens.  In 1900, Harry House was living with his father in Perry County, Illinois.  Harry House married a second time to Ada Womack.  On August 26, 1897, Laura House married Walter Greenfield.

SUSANA ELIZABETH HOUSE (1.5.3.6.1) is the daughter of Wiley House and Malinda (Orton) House.  Susana was born on June 18, 1855 in Perry County, Illinois.  On June 28, 1883, Susana House married Napoleon W. Maclin (born December, 1847 in Tennessee).  Napoleon and Susana Maclin were the parents of four children:

  Don O. Maclin, b. March, 1884, Illinois
  Zola P. Maclin, b. December, 1887, Illinois
  Oscar E. Maclin, b. March, 1893, Illinois
  Oren G. Maclin, b. May, 1896, Illinois

In 1900, Napoleon and “Lizzie” Maclin were living in Perry County, Illinois.

JACOB EDWARD HOUSE (1.5.3.6.2) is the son of Wiley House and Malinda (Orton) House.  Jacob was born on October 21, 1857 in Perry County, Illinois.  On March 9, 1881, Jacob House married Malissa J. Marlow (born June of 1859 in Illinois).  Jacob and Malissa House were the parents of eight children:

CLARINDA ISABELLE HOUSE (1.5.3.6.3) is the daughter of Wiley House and Malinda (Orton) House.  Clara was born on June 19, 1860 in Perry County, Illinois.  On October 7, 1885, Clara House married Marion C. Dry (born November, 1860 in Illinois).  Marion and Clara Dry were the parents of four children:

  Florence Dry, b. July, 1888, Illinois
  Hazel L. Dry, b. January, 1891, Illinois
  Elmer O. Dry, b. June, 1899, Illinois
  Lester C. Dry, b. March, 1899, Illinois

In 1900, Marion and Clara Dry were living in Perry County, Illinois.  Clara (House) Dry died on January 23, 1921.

JULIA BELLZORA HOUSE (1.5.3.6.4) is the daughter of Wiley House and Malinda (Orton) House.  Julia was born on April 3, 1863 in Perry County, Illinois.  On May 18, 1884, Julia House married Samual Stevens (born February, 1858 in Missouri).  Samuel and Julia Stevens were the parents of three daughters:

  Anneta F. Stevens, b. October, 1886, Illinois
  Winnie E. Stevens, b. December, 1888, Nebraska
  Elvie B. Stevens, b. November, 1891, Illinois

In 1900, Samuel and Julia Stevens were living in Perry County, Illinois.  Julia (House) Stevens died on October 15, 1950.

CHARLES HOUSE (1.5.3.6.5) is the son of Wiley House and Malinda (Orton) House.  Charles was born on September 9, 1865 in Perry County, Illinois.  On July 17, 1883, Charles House married Laura O. Williams in Holden, Illinois.  Laura was born on February 4, 1866 in Battle Creek, Michigan and is the daughter of Walter Williams and Olive (White) Williams.  Charles and Laura House were the parents of four children:

  Charles House, Jr., b. November 12, 1883, Holden, Illinois
  Lois M. House, b. July 20, 1885, Holden, Illinois
  Wiley W. House, b. July 12, 1888, Holden, Illinois
  Lyle Stanley House, b. May 22, 1893, Du Quoin, Illinois

In 1900, Charles and Laura House were living in Perry County, Illinois.  Charles House died on October 1, 1902 in Holden, Illinois and was buried in the Nine Mile Baptist Cemetery in Perry County, Illinois.  Laura (Williams) House died on March 19, 1933 in Holden, Illinois and was buried the I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Du Quoin, Illinois.  Charles House, Jr. died on August 24, 1884.  On January 2, 1909, Lois House married James B. Mitchell.  Lois (House) Mitchell died on June 2, 1956.  On April 24, 1921, Wylie House married Lillian Cavins.  Wylie House died on January 15, 1939.  On January 30, 1915, Lyle House married Lora Cecil Weaver in Evansville, Indiana.  Lyle House died on April 1, 1961 in Du Quoin, Illinois and was buried in Du Quoin, Illinois.

ELIZABETH BRYAN (1.6) is the daughter of John and Sarah Bryan.  Since Elizabeth married in 1787 and was probably a teenager at the time, Elizabeth Bryan was was in the late 1760’s.  It is believed that Elizabeth Bryan married John Davis on February 22, 1787 in Rowan County, North Carolina.  Richard Caswell was responsible for the debts of this marriage for 500 pound bond.  In 1797, “Elizabeth Davis” is listed as a daughter in John Bryan’s will.  In 1821, “Elizabeth Davis” is listed in the will of John Davis as the wife of John Davis.

SARAH BRYAN (1.7) is the daughter of John and Sarah Bryan.  In 1797, “Sarah Allen” is listed as a daughter in John Bryan’s will.  In 1821, “Sarah” Allen was listed in the will of John Allen as the wife of John Allen.  It is not certain if this Sarah is John and Sarah Bryan’s daughter.
