ISAAC TURNER BROOKS (2.3.3) is the son of Isham Brooks and Lezina (Daniel) Brooks.  Turner was born on October 15, 1818 in Putnam County, Georgia.  On November 28, 1839, Turner Brooks married Mary Frances Wynn in Putnam County, Georgia.  Mary was born on December 14, 1819 and is the daughter of John Wynn and Mary (Brewer) Wynn.  In 1850, Turner and Mary Brooks were living in Talbot County, Georgia.  From 1860 to 1870, they were living in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Turner and Mary Brooks were the parents of eleven children:

  Joseph Henry Brooks (2.3.3.2), b. June 9, 1842, Talbot County, Georgia

  Martha Elizabeth Brooks (2.3.3.5), b. September 9, 1849, Georgia
  Catherine Elexie Brooks (2.3.3.6), b. February, 1851, Georgia
  Ella Duncan Brooks (2.3.3.7), b. October 25, 1853, Georgia
  Anna (Frances) Brooks, b. 1857, Georgia
  Ida Matilda Brooks (2.3.3.9), b. April 27, 1859, Columbus, Georgia

Turner Brooks served two years as a Tax Collector.  In November of 1869, he was elected Clerk of the Superior Court but later decided not to take the position.  Turner Brooks died on October 27, 1893 and Mary (Wynn) Brooks died on July 7, 1903 in Girard, Alabama.  Both died at the home of their son, Isaac Cheney Brooks, and both were buried in the Linwood Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.  Anna (Frances) Brooks died prior to 1869 in Columbus, Georgia.  Another one of Turner’s children died at the age of five and was buried in the Linwood Cemetery on February 25, 1870.  Mary (Wynn) Brooks was living with her daughter, Sarah, in Muscogee County, Georgia in 1880 and with her daughter, Elexie, in Chattahoochee County, Georgia in 1900.

SARAH ANN ELIZA JANE BROOKS (2.3.3.1) is the daughter of Isaac Turner Brooks and Mary Frances (Wynn) Brooks.  Sarah was born on March 21, 1841 in Talbot County, Georgia.  On October 17, 1858, Sarah Brooks first married John Wesley Skinner in Muscogee County, Georgia.  John and Sarah had a daughter, Jonsieline Skinner, who died in infancy.  John Wesley Skinner died on April 10, 1864 in Camp Douglas, Illinois.  On October 15, 1868, Sarah married Samuel Dimon in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Samuel Dimon was born on November 7, 1828 in Monticello, Georgia and is the son of Abel Dimon and Mary (Van Norden) Dimon.  Samuel and Sarah Dimon were the parents of four children:

In 1880, Samuel and Sarah Dimon were living in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Samuel Dimon was a farmer in Muscogee County all of his adult life.  Samuel Dimon died in Muscogee County, Georgia on May 21, 1904 and Sarah (Brooks) Dimon died on July 30, 1929 in Columbus, Georgia at the home of her son, Samuel Kelly Dimon.  Both were buried in the Linwood Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.

JOSEPH HOMER DIMON (2.3.3.1.1) is the son of Samuel Dimon and Sarah Ann (Brooks) Dimon.  Homer was born on August 8, 1869 in Muscogee County, Georgia.  On May 23, 1894, Homer Dimon married Martha Clayton Estes in Columbus, Georgia.  Martha was born on September 29, 1871 in Eufaula, Alabama.  Homer and Martha Dimon were the parents of four children:

From 1900 to 1910, Homer and Martha Dimon were living in Columbus in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Homer Dimon attended Eastman Business College in New York.  He served as Mayor of Columbus, Georgia from 1922 to 1931 and again in 1935.  Martha (Estes) Dimon died on August 11, 1939 and Joseph Homer Dimon, Sr. died on January 10, 1951.  Both died in Columbus, Georgia and were buried there in the Linwood Cemetery.

NELLE BEECHER DIMON (2.3.3.1.1.1) is the daughter of Joseph Homer Dimon and Martha Clayton (Estes) Dimon.  Nelle was born on July 6, 1895 in Columbus, Georgia.  On August 4, 1921, Nelle first married James Hill Palmer in Columbus and they had no children.  On July 3, 1927, Nelle married a second time to Captain George Reade, Jr. in Columbus.  George and Nelle Reade were the parents of two daughters:

On November 9, 1931, Nelle (Dimon) Reade married a third time to James Acree in San Francisco, California and they had no children.  Nelle (Dimon) Acree died on June 11, 1961 in Washington, D. C. and was buried in the Linwood Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.  Clayton Reade married Harry C. McPherson, Jr. and they have two children:  -  Courtenay McPherson,  -  Peter McPherson.  In 1957, Courtney Reade married Michael Edmund Sterner and they have two children:  -  Lucian Estes Sterner, b. July 19, 1965,  -  Marcellin Thornton Sterner, b. January 3, 1967.

CHARLER ESTES DIMON (2.3.3.1.1.2) is the son of Joseph Homer Dimon and Martha Clayton (Estes) Dimon.  Charles was born on July 9, 1897 in Columbus, Georgia.  On August 9, 1924, Charles Dimon married Josephine Andrews in Columbus, Georgia and they were the parents of two sons:

Charles Estes Dimon, Sr. died in Columbus, Georgia on June 1, 1973 and was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery.  As of 1982, Josie (Andrews) Dimon was living in Columbus.

CHARLES ESTES DIMON, JR. (2.3.3.1.1.2.1) is the son of Charles Estes Dimon and Josephine (Andrews) Dimon.  Charles was born on August 6, 1926 in Columbus, Georgia.  On September 6, 1947, Charles Dimon married Irene Williams Adair in Fulton County, Georgia.  Irene is the daughter of Forrest Adair, Jr.  Charles and Irene Dimon were the parents of two children:

  Janet Estes Dimon, b. January 2, 1949
  Forrest Adair Dimon, b. May 21, 1952

On December 20, 1969, Janet Dimon married James Taylor Coppage (born November 7, 1946) in Columbus, Georgia.  James and Janet Coppage have two children:  -  Claire Dimon Coppage, b. January 7, 1973,  -  Mary Lynne Coppage, b. June 12, 1975.  Forrest Dimon married Joanna Dunn and they have one child:  -  Shalisha Dimon, b. December 20, 1975.  Forrest and Joanna Dimon live in Atlanta.  Charles and Irene Dimon were later divorced.  On March 18, 1966, Charles Dimon married a second time to Mrs. Gretchen Henslee Duncan in Troy, Alabama but they were later divorced.  In 1978, Charles married his third wife, Joy Dimon, and they live in Columbus, Georgia.

Van Der Kloot, III but they were later divorced.  On June 7, 1975, Margaret Dimon married Thomas M. Brumby, IV in Atlanta, Georgia and they have one daughter:  -  Virginia Ann Brumby, b. October 31, 1978.  Thomas and Margaret Brumby live in Tifton, Georgia.  Ann and Jenny Dimon are single and live in Atlanta, Georgia.  Joseph Homer Dimon, III lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is a doctor of medicine.

MARTHA CLAYTON DIMON (2.3.3.1.1.4) is the daughter of Joseph Homer Dimon and Martha Clayton (Estes) Dimon.  Martha was born on August 28, 1910 in Columbus, Georgia.  On March 1, 1934, Martha Dimon married Thomas King Peabody, Jr. in Columbus, Georgia but they were later divorced.  On November 17, 1939, Martha Dimon married Thomas Clarence Kendrick, Jr.  Thomas was born on June 29, 1907 and is the son of Thomas Clarence Kendrick, a former Columbus High School principal.  Thomas and Martha Kendrick were the parents of two children:

  Thomas Clarence Kendrick, III, b. August 10, 1943
  Charles Estes Dimon Kendrick, b. June 10, 1945

Thomas Clarence Kendrick, Jr. was Vice President of Tom Huston Peanut Company when he died.  Thomas died on December 23, 1950 in Columbus, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery.  On November 19, 1952, Martha (Dimon) Kendrick married a third time to Shi Gray Holmes in Columbus, Georgia.  Thomas Clarence Kendrick, III and Charles Estes Dimon Kendrick had their last names changed to Kendrick-Holmes when Shi Holmes adopted them.  Martha (Dimon) Holmes died on June 16, 1961 in Zebulon, Georgia.  Shi Holmes still lives in Zebulon, Georgia where he is a clerk of the Superior Court.  On October 24, 1964, Thomas Clarence Kendrick-Holmes married Josephine Ann Cotton in Macon, Georgia and they have two children:  -  Martha Dimon Kendrick-Holmes, b. October 14, 1965,  -  Thomas Clarence Kendrick-Holmes, Jr., b. SAMUEL KELLY DIMON (2.3.3.1.2) is the son of Samuel Dimon and Sarah Ann (Brooks) Dimon.  Kelly was born on August 4, 1870 on his father’s farm in Muscogee County, Georgia.  On January 22, 1896, Kelly Dimon married Sallie Watkins Peacock in Columbus at the Cedars, her ancestral home.  Sallie was born on February 8, 1874 in Columbus, Georgia at the Cedars and is the daughter of Gideon James Peacock and Anna Josephine Virginia (Banks) Peacock.  Kelly and Sallie Dimon were the parents of seven children:

On August 27, 1889, Kelly Dimon graduated from the Eastman Business College in Poughkeepsie, New York.  For most of his adult life, Kelly was a wholesale grocer in Columbus, Georgia.  From 1900 to 1920, Samuel and Sallie Dimon were living in Muscogee County, Georgia with Sallie’s parents, Gideon and Josephine Peacock.  Samuel Kelly Dimon, Sr. died on January 25, 1938 and Sallie (Peacock) Dimon died on December 13, 1957.  Both died at the Cedars home in Columbus and were buried there in the Linwood Cemetery.  Sara Dimon is unmarried and lives in Columbus, Georgia.  Eugene Banks Dimon died on May 15, 1907 at the Cedars in Columbus and was buried there in the Linwood Cemetery.

JOSEPHINE BANKS DIMON (2.3.3.1.2.1) is the daughter of Samuel Kelly Dimon and Sallie Watkins (Peacock) Dimon.  Josephine was born on November 17, 1896 at the Cedars in Columbus, Georgia.  On September 22, 1921, Josephine Dimon married John James McKay, Jr. at the Cedars in Columbus.  John was born on August 8, 1893 in Macon, Georgia and is the son of John James McKay and Annie (Anderson) McKay.  John’s paternal grandfather was Reverend William McKay, a Presbyterian minister and his maternal grandfather was Judge Clifford Anderson who was Attorney General of Georgia for ten years.  John and Josephine McKay lived in Macon, Georgia and were the parents of three children:

  John James McKay, III, b. April 27, 1932

John James McKay, Jr. died on March 29, 1982 in Macon, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverside Cemetery.  As of 1982, Josephine (Dimon) McKay was living with her daughter, Jo (McKay) Sheftall in Macon.  On August 16, 1951, Sally McKay married Charles Madison Hairston in Macon, Georgia.  Charlie was born on July 15, 1926 in Cobb County, Georgia and is the son of Madison Palmer Hairston and Susie (Booth) Hairston.  Charlie and Sally have three children:  -  Sarah Banks Hairston, b. September 25, 1956, Albany, Georgia,  -  Charles Madison Hairston, Jr., b. September 2, 1961, Albany, Georgia,  -  Carie Watkins Hairston, b. February 22, 1964, Albany, Georgia.  Sally and Charlie Hairston are 1950 graduates of Mercer University.  Charlie is presently Vice-President of Southeastern Mortgage Corporation and Sally is Director of the Dougherty County School Volunteer Services.  Charlie and Sally Hairston live in Albany, Georgia.  On August 28, 1977, Sally Hairston married Wofford “Buck” Evans Malphrus, Jr. in Albany, Georgia.  Buck and Sally Malphrus have two children:  -  Cameron Evans Malphrus, b. April 12, 1978, Americus, Georgia,  -  James Christopher Malphrus, b. February of 1982, Americus, Georgia.  Buck and Sally live in Albany.  Madison Hairston is attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.  Carie Hairston is attending Albany Junior College.  John James McKay, III died on May 5, 1932 in Macon, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverside Cemetery.  For many years, John McKay, Jr. was an executive with the Bibb Manufacturing Company in Macon.  After his retirement, he became a local leader in historic preservation and a founder of the Middle Georgia Historical Society.  At the time of his death, he was serving as the official historian of the City of Macon.

JOSEPHINE BANKS McKAY (2.3.3.1.2.1.1) is the daughter of John James McKay, Jr. and Josephine Banks (Dimon) McKay.  Jo Banks was born on April 27, 1923 in Columbus, Georgia.  Jo Banks is a graduate of Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia.  On April 3, 1951, Jo Banks McKay married William Lowe Sheftall in Macon, Georgia.  Bill was born on April 6, 1922 in Macon, Georgia and is the son of William Lowe Sheftall and Anna LaFae (Fargason) Sheftall.  Bill served 17 months as a fighter pilot in Italy during World War II.  Bill attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and Vanderbilt University Law School, where he graduated in 1950.  Bill and Jo Banks Sheftall are the parents of two children:

  William Lowe Sheftall, Jr., b. March 21, 1953, Panama City, Florida
  John McKay Sheftall, b. April 24, 1958, Macon, Georgia

Bill Sheftall is presently an independent insurance agent and Vice-President of Murphey, Taylor and Ellis, Inc. in Macon, Georgia.  Will Sheftall received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia and Master of Art degree in Botany from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  On June 12, 1982, Will McKay married Mrs. Carol (Harden) Dyke in Thomasville, Georgia.  Will and Carol currently live in Big Pine Key, Florida.  Carol’s six year old daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dyke, lives with them.  John graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 1980 and is currently attending the University of Virginia Law School.  On May 23, 1981, John Sheftall married Lucy Anna Tresp in Athens, Georgia.  Lucy was born on October 2, 1958 in Athens, Georgia and is the daughter of Lothar Leo Tresp and Lucy Elizabeth (Nickerson) Tresp.  Lucy is a 1979 graduate of the University of Georgia and a 1982 graduate of the University of Virginia Law School.  John and Lucy Sheftall have at least one daughter:  -  Lucy Brooks Sheftall, b. SAMUEL KELLY DIMON, JR. (2.3.3.1.2.3) is the son of Samuel Kelly Dimon and Sallie Watkins (Peacock) Dimon.  Kelly was born on June 7, 1901 at the Cedars in Columbus, Georgia.  On November 20, 1938, Kelly Dimon married Mildred Ellen Harvey in Columbus, Georgia.  Ellen was born on January 12, 1915 and is the daughter of John Henry Harvey and Ellen Gertrude (Waldrop) Harvey.  Kelly and Ellen Dimon are the parents of one son:

  Samuel Kelly Dimon, III, b. August 15, 1939, Columbus, Georgia

Samuel Kelly Dimon, Jr. was a prominent businessman in Columbus most of his life.  Kelly was associated with the Centennial Cotton Gin Company from 1924 to 1962 and served as President from 1953 to 1962.  Ellen (Harvey) Dimon died on September 26, 1977 in Columbus, Georgia and was buried there in the Parkview Cemetery.  Kelly Dimon lives in Columbus, Georgia.  On October 31, 1965, Kelly Dimon married Gloria F. Waller in Jasper, South Carolina.  Gloria was previously married and had a daughter.  Her daughter married and had a son, Christopher Lee Brown (born January 3, 1978).  Kelly and Gloria adopted Gloria’s grandson and his name was changed to Christopher Lee Dimon.  Kelly and Gloria Dimon live in Columbus, Georgia.

ZILPHA PEACOCK DIMON (2.3.3.1.2.4) is the daughter of Samuel Kelly Dimon and Sallie Watkins (Peacock) Dimon.  Zilpha was born on March 2, 1903 in Columbus, Georgia.  On October 29, 1927, Zilpha Dimon married James Eli Averett at the old Banks home, “The Cedars.”  Eli and Zilpha Averett were the parents of two children:

  Charles Cole Averett, b. April 27, 1933, Savannah, Georgia
  James Eli Averett, Jr., b. March 1, 1935, Savannah, Georgia

Eli and Zilpha Averett lived in Savannah, Georgia for eighteen years, then in Brockton, Massachusetts for fifteen years, then in Savannah for another twelve years and now in Columbus, Georgia.  Eli received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1925.  Eli was a Sales Manager for the Savannah Electric and Power Company and the Brockton Edison Company.  On June 9, 1956, Charles Averett married Avarilla Glenn Caldwell in Gay, Georgia.  Charles and Avarilla Averett are the parents of two children:  -  Patricia Glenn Averett, b. September 26, 1957, Atlanta, Georgia,  -  Barbara Elizabeth Averett, b. May 8, 1960, Atlanta, Georgia.  Charles and Avarilla Averett live in Statesville, North Carolina.  On June 7, 1959, James “Bud” Averett married Sylvia Jane Bacon in Statesboro, Georgia.  Bud received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in 1956 and a Doctorate of Medicine degree from Emory University in 1960.  Bud is a physician and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.  Bud and Sylvia Averett are the parents of two children:  -  Angela Vera Averett, b. March 8, 1960, Atlanta, Georgia,  -  James Eli Averett, III, b. July 2, 1961, Atlanta, Georgia.  In 1982, Angela Averett received a Associate Bachelor degree from Sweet Briar College, Virginia.  Jim Averett is attending Washington and Lee University in Virginia.

JAMES WATKINS DIMON (2.3.3.1.2.5) is the son of Samuel Kelly Dimon and Sallie Watkins (Peacock) Dimon.  Watkins was born on August 9, 1904 in Columbus, Georgia.  On December 15, 1949, Watkins Dimon married Armine Davis of Twin City, Georgia in Nashville, Tennessee.  Watkins and Armine Dimon are the parents of two sons:

  James Watkins Dimon, Jr., b. September 17, 1950, Columbus, Georgia
  Samuel Joseph Dimon, b. June 2, 1952, Columbus, Georgia

Watkins Dimon received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University in 1928.  He is retired from Centennial Industries.  Armine (Davis) Dimon is a graduate of Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee and received a Masters of Education in 1967 from Auburn University in Alabama.  Both are active in community volunteer work and the St. Luke Methodist Church in Columbus, Georgia.  Watkins and Armine Dimon are the owners of the old John Banks home, “The Cedars,” in Columbus, Georgia.  James Dimon, Jr. is a 1972 graduate of Columbia University in New York and received a Doctorate of Medicine degree from Georgia Medical College in 1978.  He will complete his residency in psychiatry in 1982 at Mt. Zion and the University of California Hospitals in San Francisco, California.  Samuel Dimon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard in 1975.  On September 7, 1979, Samuel Dimon married Cheryl Grau in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  Sam and Cheryl have one daughter:  -  Alison Loretta Dimon, b. June 7, 1981.  Sam Dimon is presently attending the University of Michigan School of Business.

JOHN BANKS DIMON (2.3.3.1.2.7) is the son of Samuel Kelly Dimon and Sallie Watkins (Peacock) Dimon.  Jack was born on August 30, 1912 in Columbus, Georgia.  On April 26, 1934, Jack Dimon married Clara Virginia Mercer in Columbus, Georgia.  Clara was born on August 22, 1910 in Macon, Georgia and is the daughter of Julian Perry Mercer and Hattie (Newby) Mercer.  Clara received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bessie Tift College in Forsyth, Georgia in 1931.  Jack and Clara Dimon were the parents of two children:

In 1943, Jack and Clara Dimon moved to Dallas, Texas where Jack founded several businesses.  Jack is currently President of Westex Gin Supply Company and Clara also works there as a secretary.  Roy received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1967 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1968, both from Texas A & M.  Roy is a veterinarian in Dallas, Texas.

(2.3.3.1.2.7.1) is the son of John Banks Dimon and Clara Virginia (Mercer) Dimon.  Banks was born on July 28, 1940 in Columbus, Georgia.  On September 21, 1963, Banks Dimon married Wanda Hewett Hopkins in Dallas, Texas.  Wanda had one daughter from her first marriage, Hope Denise (born November 7, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas), who was later adopted.  Hope married Ismael Courtino and they have one son: Isaac Banks Courtino.  Banks and Wanda Dimon are the parents of one daughter:

  Kelly Ann Dimon, b. June 24, 1964, Dallas, Texas

Banks and Wanda Dimon were later divorced.  On December 16, 1976, Banks Dimon married a second time to Joyce Elizabeth Wilson in Dallas, Texas.  Joyce was born on March 24, 1943 in Vallejo, California.  Banks and Joyce Dimon are the parents of one daughter:

Banks Dimon is professional drummer and Joyce is a professional singer.

GEORGE ALFRED DIMON (2.3.3.1.3) is the son of Samuel Dimon and Sarah Ann (Brooks) Dimon.  Alf was born on October 20, 1875 in Muscogee County, Georgia.  On October 20, 1902, George Dimon married Margaret Edwards in Columbus, Georgia.  Margaret was born on November 7, 1876 in Muscogee County, Georgia and is the daughter of John Edwards and Josephine (Thomaston) Edwards.  Alf and Margaret Dimon are the parents of five children:

  Mary Dimon, b. April 21, 1907, Georgia
  Martha Burr Dimon, b. November 5, 1909, Georgia

Alf Dimon was farmer all of his life and lived in his father’s house until it burned around 1906.  He rebuilt on the same site.  In 1910, George and Margaret Dimon were living in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Margaret (Edwards) Dimon died on July 28, 1938 in Columbus, Georgia and George Alfred Dimon died on February 22, 1947 in Arlington, Virginia.  Both were buried in the Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus.  In June of 1941, George Samuel Dimon married Mamie Lee Crain and they are the parents of one son:  -  George Samuel Dimon, Jr., b. November 26, 1942, Columbus, Georgia.  George and Mamie Dimon were later divorced.  George Samuel Dimon, Sr. died on August 8, 1978 in Columbus, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery.  On July 8, 1967, George Dimon, Jr. married Margaret Carolyn Spurlin (born July 23, 1942) in Phenix City, Alabama.  George and Margaret Dimon have two children:  -  Melanie Carolyn Dimon, b. January 23, 1972,  -  Margaret Michelle Dimon, b. January 28, 1975.  George and Margaret Dimon live in Phenix City, Alabama.  Mary Dimon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1931 and a Masters of Arts degree from Columbia University in New York.  Mary lives in Columbus.  Martha Dimon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State College for Women.  On June 12, 1941, Martha Dimon married Carey Judson Jones in Opelika, Alabama and they were divorced in 1950.  Martha married a second time to a Mr. Peoples and a third time to Paul Little and had no children.  Martha (Dimon) Little died on April 10, 1979 in Columbus, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery.  Margaret Dimon lives in Columbus.  Sara Josephine Dimon died on January 7, 1928 in Muscogee County, Georgia and was buried in the Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.

MARY EVELYN DIMON (2.3.3.1.4) is the daughter of Samuel Dimon and Sarah Ann (Brooks) Dimon.  Evelyn was born on October 17, 1883 in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Evelyn attended Hollins College in Virginia.  On June 28, 1903, Evelyn Dimon married Thomas Francis Woodruff in Columbus, Georgia.  Thomas was born on March 11, 1872 in Gainesville, Alabama.  Thomas and Evelyn Woodruff are the parents of two children:

  Homer Dimon Woodruff, b. November 3, 1906, Temple, Georgia
  Sarah Kathryne Woodruff, b. July 7, 1908, Temple, Georgia

In 1927, Evelyn and Thomas Woodruff were divorced.  Evelyn (Dimon) Woodruff died on January 21, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas and was buried there in the Greenwood Mausoleum.  Dimon Woodruff never married and lives in Fort Worth, Texas.  On October 26, 1934, Sarah Woodruff married George N. Mullins in Columbus, Georgia and they had one son:  -  Homer Dimon Mullins, b. January 21, 1939, Fort Worth, Texas.  In 1940, George and Sarah Mullins were divorced.  On January 8, 1948, Sarah married I. Louis Henderson in Fort Worth, Texas and they had no children.  Louis and Sarah Henderson live in Lubbock, Texas.  After Sarah’s second marriage, Homer Dimon Mullins had his name changed to Homer Dimon Henderson.  On August 18, 1962, Homer “Butch” Henderson married Rosemary Whiteside in Lubbock, Texas.  Rosemary was born on July 31, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas.  Butch and Rosemary live in Lawrence, Kansas where Butch is Senior Pastor of the Plymouth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ.  Butch received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Divinity from Yale University in 1966.  Butch and Rosemary Henderson have three children:  -  Mark Andrew Henderson, b.
