Bryan Family History

This web site contains one family history book that includes over 8,800 individuals that are related (or possibly related) to the author's Bryan line.   Also included is a small section on the related line, Revier.   This Bryan line includes only descendants of John Bryan, b. ca. 1731, and his wife, Sarah.   John is believed to be the son of Morgan Bryan and Martha (Strode) Bryan.  Most of this Bryan line resided in North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Illinois, Utah, Mississippi and other southern and midwestern states.   The author's direct ancestral line originated from Rowan County, North Carolina then migrated to Davidson County, Tennessee, Maury County, Tennessee and Hill County, Texas.   Major lines that married into this Bryan line include: Campbell, Allen, Smith, Johnson, Bryant, McGavock, Goheen, Jones, Pinkerton, Orton, Mobley, Huey, Prosise, House, Revier, Revere and many others.
